"I'm so So sorry Camila! I crossed every limit just to get Shawn.." Hailey cried as she told how she was paid for exposing Shawn's profession in front of her and also how she tranquillised Shawn to make the pics of him in her bed, so that Camila would misunderstand the situation.
"Why did they kidnap you then?" She asked.
"Cause I know the truth, I know the traitor who's working behind Shawn's back to make him fail his mission.. They'll kill me Camila.. please save me." Hailey pleaded grabbing her hand. Her eyes full of tears and fear.
"How can I save you now..you put yourself in this mess with your own hands." Camila told her.
"I promise, I'll help you and Shawn to solve the case, I would tell him the real name of the traitor.. please do something, they wouldn't do anything to you but they'd put me to death." She cried.
"Alright! I'll try to help you but first tell me who told you to do all that."
"A lady. She told me that her name was Lana but I know that she didn't tell me her real name. By the appearance of her she looked very decent, I can tell that she had very much information about shawn and I'm guessing, she might work with him." She told between sobs.
"We have to do something before Diego came here." Camila said getting up. "Get up and help me." She told Hailey and she followed her orders as Camila looked around her for something to help.
She couldn't find anything, except an opening of the ventilator, faraway from her reach.
"You've to stand here and I'd climb your shoulders to look through the opening." Camila told Hailey. "Can you do this."
"I don't know."
"Well you've to do this if you want yourself alive." Camila said to her and Hailey positioned herself facing the wall and sat down so that Camila could climb on her. She pulled off her shoes and put her feet on Hailey's shoulders.
"Now slowly stand up... carefully." She said taking a support from wall as Hailey stood up trying not to fall her down. Camila tried but her head was still slightly beneath the ventilator.
"Sit down again I'm not reaching." She told Hailey and got off her shoulders. "We need something for you to stand on it." She searched and found an empty wooden box probably used for storing fruits inside but it was broken. Her eyes found a pillow nearby so she stacked the box with pillow making Hailey to stand on it to add more height.
This time, she was successful in reaching the opening as her eyes could easily watch outside. All she could see was a dry grass and trees. It looked like they were in woods.
"Camila! I'm losing my balance." Hailey said from beneath but as soon as she said that they heard the footsteps coming towards the door.
"Someone's coming." Hailey started to panic and both quickly climbed off, throwing the box and pillow away and ran towards the place where Hailey was tied.
The door suddenly opened revealing Diego in a doorway. He had food box in his hand. The time he had taken to come back, Camila could easily tell that he had to drive faraway to bring the food which meant they were in a place with no nearby market in it.
"Who the fuck untied you." He spat in anger seeing Hailey without ropes. Both were already out of their breaths.
"I" Camila intervened as Diego was about to put his hand on Hailey.
"Why? She yelled alot and annoyed the fuck out of me that's why I had to shut her mouth." He spat.
"She would never yell again.. right?" She asked Hailey and she noded gulping the fear. "Look Diego! I couldn't see her like that..let her atleast share food with me." She said with a soft smile, knowing that she could control him showing little affection.
"Alright! But keep in mind that I would never tolerate any disturbance." He warned Hailey and she noded.
Camila shared her food with Hailey while Diego sat there watching them.
"I brought something for you." He said pulling out the documents from his jacket.
"What's this?" Camila asked in curiosity.
"Divorce papers." He told her while Hailey stared at him with big eyes. "Sign the papers so I'd send it to that boxer and you'd get free from him."
"Are you crazy..I'm not signing that shit." Camila refused knowing fully well that if she'd sign them she would left with no reason to stay in Canada and she could be easily sent back to her uncle once again.
"Alright." He said getting up and pulled out his gun, moving towards Hailey. "Sign or I'll fix the bullet in her head." He grabbed Hailey by her chin, pointing gun in her head.
"PPPlease don't kill me." Hailey said squeezing her eyes as she trembled with fear.
"Leave her Diego..she has nothing to do with it." Camila pleaded.
"I'd leave her only if you'd sign these papers...or you wanna become a reason of her murder." He threatened.
"You can't be Diego I used to know..you fuckin converted to an animal."
"Love! you know I still care about you..just sign so I can leave her." He told her.
"Alright! I'm signing..give me the pen." She gave up finally and he left Hailey, pulling out a pen. She hesitantly signed the papers cause she had no other choice.
"Good girl." He said pinching her cheek.
"I need new clothes...these stink." She told him. "I can't sleep until I can wear something comfortable."
"Ah! Ok" He said. "I'll go and bring them for you but don't try to escape..well you can't escape even if you'd try." He laughed and left away.
"What would we do now?" Hailey asked.
"Come on, we have to try again." Camila told her and both went again at the spot under ventilator to sneak outside.
"What did you see?" Hailey asked beneath her as she was standing on her shoulders.
"Just a jungl- wait." She sensed something in woods. "Hey! Anyone's there?" She yelled. "Heyyyy! Please listen...we need help." She shouted and an old man with a stick came out of the bushes. He searched for where the voice was coming from. "Here look down." Camila told him and he found her head slightly exposed in the opening under the wall.
