Kostas

Almost time to rescue Ira. Lucas and I were still pissed and we were beyond ready to kill someone, so everyone kept their distance from us. Cristy was just anxious about saving her friend, even though Caleb heavily protested aganist it and even locked her in her room to prevent her from leaving with us all, but she just climbed out the window and snuck in the car.

"Alpha!" Troy shouted from the campsite. Yes, campsite. We were about a mile or so from Holloway's territory, just waiting to attack them and get Ira.

I ran over to him and Caleb who were standing around a tree stump with papers and such thrown across the large thing of wood. Troy was holding something in his hand and once I got closer I thought it was his cell phone. As I was closer, Cristy ran over to us and Caleb and Troy had small grins on their faces.

"What?" I asked as I got closer.

Troy said nothing as he extended his hand with the phone to me. I eyed him curiousy before I took it and brouhgt it up to my ear. It was late in the night and I was wondering who was calling Troy so late, or early, depending on how you look at him.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Kostas?" a small, sweet, familiar voice spoke.

My eyes widened and Caleb's and Troy's grins grew tenfold. They knew who it was.

"Ira?!" I asked excitedly.

I heard her giggle. Gosh how I missed her sexy laugh. "Hi," she sheepishly said.

"Hi," I said, smiling like a completely idiot even though she couldn't see it. I suddenly remembered what happened the last time we talked and became serious. "Ira, what have they done to you? Are you alright? Tell me!"

She laughed and my stomach had butterflies. "I'm fine, but I've made new friends. It's really sweet here and I'm not sure if you know where I am."

My face fell and my heart cracked again. Where as she? Someplace sweet? Somewhere I don't know? Was she in heaven? Was she dead?! No! Tears slowly fell down my face as I thought that.

"Ira," I choked out. "You...you're not...dead, are you?"

She laughed loudly. What was so funny?! "No! No! Kostas, I'm not dead! I'm fine! I'm alive!"

I smiled and let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. I heard her laughing, and I also heard some other laughter as well. I immediately growled and everyone on Ira's end was silent. Was I on speaker?

"Who's there?" I growled.

"Woah there lover boy, we're friends," a woman's voice said. "I'm Patty, me and my sisters are friends of Ira's."

I couldn't see them so I didn't know if I trusted her. "Where is she? What are you doing to her?!"

"Calm down alpha," another girl's voice said. "She's fine and for your information, we're helping her. She's helping us take out Holloway once and for all."

Wait, what?

"How?" I asked, feeling very curious.

"Put us on speaker and we'll talk," Patty said.

I did and I walked back over to Troy, Caleb, and...not Cristy. She must've run off somewhere. These girls had a plan to take out Holloway, and I wanted to help if it meant that Ira will be safe once and for all.

It was now just barely sunrise and we were on the end of the clearing to Holloway's home. I'm not going to lie; they had a nice home. It was very large, there was good training center near the other end of the clearing, and they had a large lake view litterally at their doorstep. With all the snow practically gone, this was a very beautiful place, but our mountainous homestead was better.
