Kostas
I sighed heavily into the couch cushion. Why am I on the couch? Well, I'm now sleeping here since I refused to let Ira go shopping, so I'm on the couch in the living room while Caleb was on the chair and ottoman. He was also kicked out of his room...quite literally.
Caleb and Cristy both walked into his room still arguing when she suddenly asked him what he was doing and she literally kicked his ass out of the doorway. I laughed, but then I was thrown out of my room. It was almost one in the morning and neither of us was asleep.
Suddenly I heard creaking by the stairs and then footsteps coming closer to me. I pretended to be asleep as it got closer and it was then joined by another pair of feet.
"See, they're asleep," Cristy whispered.
I heard Ira sigh and my heart ached a bit.
"I just waned to see if they were," she said sadly.
"I know, now lets go back to bed," Cristy said just as sadly.
I heard Caleb make a small moan, causing everyone to freeze. I heard Cristy walk over to him and I opened my eyes a bit to watch them. She was crouched beside the chair in front of his face.
"Caleb?" she asked.
"Hmm?" he 'sleepily' said.
"Do you want to come back to bed with me?" she sheepishly asked.
Caleb leaped out of the chair and scooped her up. Cristy stiffled a squeal and laugh as he carried her up the steps. I heard Ira chuckle a bit and I smiled, but that was short lived as I heard her walk around the couch and stop in front of me. I felt my heart beat faster, what she she going to say?
I was surprised when I felt her open up my arms and crawl next to me and wrap them around her. She then scooted as close as possible since she was on the edge of the couch and placed her hands on my naked chest since I slept in my boxers. I felt tingles and sparks dash through my body at her touch. For some stupid reason I still pretended to be asleep.
Ira started to slip of the couch and she quickly tried to grab something before she fell, but I tightened my hold on her waist and stopped her. She stared at me and I stared at her before I pulled her closer to me and she wrapped her arms around me.
"I thought you were asleep," she quietly said.
"And I thought you were mad at me," I countered.
She tensed a bit and I laughed as I kissed her head. Ira relaxed and I felt incredibly tired now. It took a moment before I thought of why she was down here.
"Do you really need new clothes and such?" I asked.
"No, I'm not a big shopper," she said. That surprised me. Doesn't every teenage girl love shopping? "I just want to go to see if I can make some friends."
My heart strings were tugged. I had forgotten that she didn't have that many friends and that she was a shy girl. But I still didn't want her out of my sight.
Let her go jacksack! Lucas growled. She obvious wants to go really badly.
Yeah but...
Let her go, she'll be surrounded by moody she-wolves who'll protect her. Lucas countered.
He had a good point. A couple of the girls were newly pregnant and would start getting very moody. I sighed heavily.
"Alright, you can go shopping with the girls," I said.
Ira suddenly looked up at me with a large smile on her face and my wolf howled in delight at seeing her like that. She caught me off guard by kissing me on the lips. I was surprised at first, but then I kissed her back, maybe more forcefully than she first intended, but she didn't mind it.
