Ira
Kostas carried me into the doctor's office and Angelina and Bert smiled widely when they saw me. I smiled back, but Kostas carried me past them and into a small room. Angelina walked in and told Kostas to leave, but she knew he would growl and refuse.
"You're freezing cold Ira! Is there another infected bite?"
Kostas and I both blushed, remembering what happened before.
"No, she just decided to take a winter dip," Kostas said.
"And my winter wolf here decided to follow me," I smiled.
"Hey, if I didn't you'd probably be dead," Kostas joked even though I saw that it pained him to say that.
I touched his arm as Angelina nodded and then grabbed a heated blanket from the cabinet and wrapped it around me. She then left us alone so she could make cups of coffee and hot chocolate to warm us both up even more.
"So, what happened to Holloway?" I asked.
Kostas sighed. "He was killed, but a few of his pack members ditched him. We sent out some scouts to chase after them and hopefully we can kill them once and for all. I'll make them pay for what they did to you."
I smiled. "Thank you."
He smiled back, his eyes holding laughter. "I'm so glad that you're alright."
"Me too."
"Now, do you remember were we left off the last time we were together?" he asked, wiggling his eyebrows at me.
I laughed. "Yes, I believe I was cut by a claw and you were carrying me to this very building."
His eyes darkened and his smile vanished. He was thinking of the morning before all that, and I knew he was. I smiled at him again and stood up. I wrapped my warm arms around his neck, dragging him out if his thoughts, and I slowly kissed his lips. He kissed me back, gently at first, afraid he'd hurt me, but then he started to deepen it.
"And here we-whoops," Angelina said, walking in on us. "Sorry."
We slowly separated, not embarrassed but upset. We nodded our thanks to the bright red woman as she handed us the hot beverages.
"Down the hatch," she said, raising her cup.
Kostas and I mimicked her and then drank down the hot liquids.

Kostas
It's been a few days since Ira got back to me, and everyone's been wanting to see their alpha female and make sure she's fine, and on top of that I've had lots of meeting with other packs. Rick and I made an alliance as his pack had grown once the rogues entered it, but I still didn't trust him completely. Mainly that was from what he said about Ira.
I had slept on the couch for that past few days because I've been so tired, but Lucas and I longed for Ira. I was determined to sleep in my bed with my mate lying beside me.
"Hello? Kostas?"
I bliked and focused on Caleb who was standing in front of me. We were standing in my office, but I'm not sure why. I literally just blacked out.
"Huh? What?" I said.
Caleb smiled. "Thinking of Ira again?"
"I'm sorry Caleb-"
"Don't apologize," Caleb smiled. "You two need to get out of here for a few days, go on a vacation."
I smiled at the thought. Ira would like to go somewhere, right? It could be just the two of us. I think we both would want that.
"I think we'll just have to do that," I said to my friend. He smiled. "But, I need Cristy real qiuck." His smile disappeared.

We opened the door to the hotel room and put our bags by the TV. When I told Ira we would go on a vacation to the Caribbean she was very excited. We took a plane down and then a taxi to our luxury hotel. It was only the two of us here and I left Caleb in charge of the pack before we left.
"It's beautiful!" Ira said, walking out onto the balcony and looking across the ocean.
"I've seen more beautiful," I said, looking at her back.
She frowned and walked back to me. What did I say? She pushed me down onto the bed and straddled my hips. I found it very hard to swallow as her sundress started to rise up her legs and as her beautiful eyes stared into mine.
"You're not allowed to look at another woman, understand me?" she said, mocking what I said to her.
I smiled and grabbed her waist. I quickly rolled over so that she was under me and I hovered above her. We both laughed for a second before I smiled at her.
"I was talking about you."
She blushed and looked to the side. I leaned down and kissed her cheek before I jumped off her and pulled her to her feet. She gave me a curious glance but I shrugged it off.
"We, have dinner plans," I said, grabbing my wallet and our room key.
"Where at?"
"You'll see."
She giggled as we left our room and left the beach front hotel. We walked along the beach as the sun set on the water, looking like it was sinking. We walked barefoot through the sand and warm water holding hands like the perfect couple.
"Where are you taking me?" she laughed.
"Just wait pup," I smiled.
She's going to love this! Lucas said.
Calm down! We're not there yet, I laughed at him.
We walked in sweet silence until we reached a dock. I brought Ira down the wooden boards and we stopped at the end of it and looked at the beautiful blue ocean. Ira could see a turtle and some fish swimming around and she smiled.
"I thought we were going to dinner," she said suspiciously.
I smirked. "Well, this is important."
"What's more important than food?" she laughed, looking back at the fish. "Well, I guess you would be-"
As she turned back to me she gasped and stopped talking, bringing her hand up to her mouth. She was obviously surprised to see me on one knee and holding a small brown box in my hand. Ira didn't move as she looked at me.
"Kostas," she barely whispered.
"I'd classify this as more important than dinner," I laughed.
She didn't say anything but nodded her head.
"Ira Hills, I love you more than anything I've ever known in this world, and when I thought I lost you I wanted nothing more than to have you there so I could tell you I love you. You're the most precious thing in my life, and I will do everything in my power to protect you," I said, feeling choked up myself.
She started crying as she slowly fell to her knees so that she was level with me. Her hand still covered her mouth.
"Ira, will you please, make me the happiest guy in the world, and become my wife?"
She quickly nodded and kept repeating 'yes' as she hugged me and I hugged her back, letting out the breath that I was holding. She said yes! I was afraid that she wouldn't!
I placed the simple silver band with a white diamond on it onto her finger and then she kissed me. I kissed her back and then she hugged me tightly, laughing and crying at the same time.
"I love you Ira," I said.
"I love you, Kostas."
