Ira
I was still handcuffed and still in the backs seat crying. I hated these people for kidnapping me, what was their problem? Why did this Holloway want me? Just to spite Kostas and his family? And how old was this guy anyway? Jett kept saying that this whole pack business was started when Kostas' dad took Holloway's pack, so did an old man want me?
Suddenly, the breaks were slammed and I was thrown head first into the seat in front of me and then whipped back and connected heads with Jett. Now I'm sure I had a concussion.
"Jett, get her outta here!" Brain shouted, leaving the car with the other one following him closely.
"Time to go sweetie!" Jett said, gabbing me and pulling me into the back trunk with me.
I kicked and protested against it, but I was quickly shut up by a gag shoved in my mouth and then duct tape around. Did this idiot not know that I could still be loud with this on? I played along and was silent as Jett took off his shirt and threw it over me, why?
Jett then leaped further up and jumped out of the car, leaving me alone in the car which I'm assuming was locked. Suddenly, I heard barking, howling, and...cracking? Then I heard whimpering which faded off. Everything was silent, and I mean really silent. But that was soon broken by the sound of breaking glass.
"Ira?!" a sexy voice said. "Ira?! Where are you?"
Kostas? Kostas was here to save me? My heart and stomach fluttered.
"I can't smell her," he said. "Where else could she have gone?!"
"Calm down," Caleb's voice said. "It must've been a decoy."
"It couldn't have," Cristy said. "I saw them put her in this car!"
I started screaming as much as I could with my mouth covered and some cloth shoved down my throat. Everything was silent. Did they hear me? Did I need to shout again?
"Did you hear that?" Kostas asked.
Yes! It worked! I screamed again and then felt the car dip a bit. I screamed once more while staring at the top of the seat. Kostas' face popped over the seat and I screamed again in relief.
"Ira!" he shouted, grabbing me by the shirt and lifting me up over the seat. He hugged me incredibly tight and I would've hugged him back if it weren't for the handcuffs.
"I was so worried about you! I'm sorry I left you alone!" Kostas started babbling. I smiled as much as I could.
"Why aren't you saying anything?" Cristy finally asked.
I turned towards her and her eyes expanded as she saw the duct tape. She quickly reached up and yanked it off. I yelled and pushed the cloth out with my tongue which made Cristy cringe in disgust. I inhaled deeply before I looked at her.
"What the hell?! You don't just rip duct tape off someone's face!" I yelled at her, unable to resist a smile.
She smiled but put her hands up in surrender playfully. I laughed and then was pulled tightly to Kostas. I looked up at him and I saw tears in his eyes. Was he crying? Why?
"What's wrong?" I asked him.
"I was afraid that I lost you, and I'm just happy that you're alright," he said.
I smiled. "Well, mostly."
He growled. "What do you mean mostly? What did they do to you?!"
I laughed and leaned forward a bit showing him my hands. "The handcuffs are digging into my wrists."
He sighed in relief and with one hand he snapped the chain. How did he do that? Oh well, werewolf strength. Kostas then lifted me up bridal style out of the car and I then realized that he was shirtless and wearing some weird, spandex like black shorts that stopped at his knees as well as barefoot. Why was he dressed like this?
