"Good job." He growled
"Anything for you." She said, her voice like silk
"Is she dead?" He asked
"No. The stupid alicorn warned him." She emphasized the word him
Using that name was strictly forbidden.
"NO!" He screamed, tearing out his hair
She put her hand on his hand
"One day we will get her." She said
"Mother, Father. Did you kill her?" The child asked excitedly
"No. We're causing chaos first." He said, covering their failure with a smooth lie.
"Yeah right." He snorted
"I don't like that attitude young man." He warned
"And I don't like being you. What do I get out of it." The child snarled
"Go to your room now!" His father yelled
"I WILL!" The child yelled back, stomping up the stairs of the rickety castle.
"We need a better plan." She said
"I know." He said, running his hand through his hair.
"We will kill her eventually." She said, creating a ball of flame in her hand.
"We will finish them all off. The whole family." He confirmed
"I will take her. You take him." He said
She nodded kissing him goodnight and going upstairs to bed.
"We will meet again Sophie." He growled softly
