It was thundering heavy outside as Chris stared at the mystery girl in confusion. She looked to be about his age, only really skinny, had brown doe-like eyes and shaved brown hair.

"Is there a number we can call for your parents?" Mike asked the mystery girl.

"Where's your hair? Do you have cancer?" Dustin asked and Chris softly slapped his arm.

"You don't ask that." He hissed.

"Did you run away?" Lucas asked.

"Are you in some kind of trouble?" Mike added.

"Is that blood?" Lucas asked and tried to touch it but Mike slapped his arm away and Chris sighed.

"Stop it! You're freaking her out!" Mike yelled.

"She's freaking me out!" Lucas shot back as Chris rolled his eyes.

"I bet she's deaf," Dustin said and clapped at the girl who flinched. "Not deaf."

"Stop it! All of you!" Chris exclaimed and sighed before looking at the girl with a timid but nice smile. "I'm sorry about them," He said before knitting his eyebrows together. "Are you," He started and pointed at the girl. "Okay?" He asked as he put his thumbs up before putting them down in a questioning way, but the girl stayed quiet. She did seem to warm up to Chris though.

"All right, Chris is right. She's just scared and cold," Mike said and went to grab some clothes. While he was gone the thunder rumbled again and the girl flinched.

"Hey," Chris soothed as he carefully sat down next to the girl but held his distance. "It's okay. It's just thunder outside," He said in a calm voice which seemed to help. Then Mike returned with some sweatpants and sweatshirt.

"Here, these are clean. Okay?" He asked and Chris took the clothes before handing them to the girl who had stood up. She was about to undress when Chris stopped her and the boys freaked out.

"No, no, no!" They all exclaimed quickly.

"Oh, my God! Oh, my God!" Dustin mumbled as he and Lucas turned away.

"See over there? That's the bathroom," Mike explained as he pointed in its direction. "Privacy. Get it?" He asked and the girl just simply stared at him before Chris cleared his throat.

"I'll walk with you," He said and chose not to grab her hand and to just lead her. When the girl stepped into the bathroom, Chris wanted to close the bathroom put the girl stopped her. "You don't want it closed?" He asked and the girl softly shook her head.

"No." She said and Chris quickly looked at the boys before turning back to the girl.

"Oh, so you do talk," He joked softly but his smile quickly dropped. "Okay, well... I'll keep the door open just three inches," He said and softly closed the door with a little peek. "The guys and I are just over there. Better?" He asked and the girl nodded.

"Yes." She said and Chris softly smiled.

"Okay," He whispered and walked back to the boys.

"This is mental," Dustin said.

"At least she can talk," Mike tried.

"She said 'no' and 'yes'. Your three-year-old sister says more." Lucas shot back and Chris rolled his eyes even though Lucas wasn't wrong.

"She tried to get naked," Dustin added.

"There's something seriously wrong with her. Like wrong in her head." Lucas said and Chris sighed.
