𝐒𝐔𝐍𝐆𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐒 ||𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘺𝘦𝘳𝘴||

𝐕𝐈𝐈. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫

Alarms started blaring and Chris's heart sunk.

"What the hell?" Bob asked while Chris turned pale.

"We're too late," Mike said.

"What?" Bob asked confused.

"We're too late!" Chris yelled before running back to Will, soon followed by Mike and Bob.

"What's going on?" Joyce asked with panic.

"We're under attack," Mike replied as Chris pushed his hair out of his face.

"Get ready to run," He added before picking up a needle. "We need to make Will sleep." He said as he tried to get to Will but Joyce stopped him.

"What?" She asked.

"He's a spy. If he knows where we are, so does the shadow monster." Mike explained.

"He's lying!" Will exclaimed.

"He killed those soldiers. He'll kill us, too!" Chris yelled and Joyce knew he wouldn't lie about this.

"He's lying! He's lying! He's Lying! He's lying! He's lying!" Will yelled as they heard gunshots.

"Those are gunshots!" Bob exclaimed with shock.

"He's lying! He's lying!" Will kept screaming.

"Okay, Will, Will, listen, listen. Do you know who he is?" Joyce asked and pointed to Chris who was still holding the needle. "Do you know who he is?"

"He's... He's... He's Christian." Will said eventually and Joyce and Chris shared a look.

"Help me hold him down." She said to Bob and Chris put the needle into the arm of a screaming Will. When Chris was finished he took a step back and Mike quickly hugged him, knowing how hard that was for him. Then Hopper and Dr Owens burst into the room panting wildly. The room was silent until they heard the monsters growling and saw them trying to break down the door.

"We gotta go. We gotta go." Hopper said as he picked up Will and Chris started lightly shacking. The group rushed through the halls, followed by the sound of screaming people, gunshots and growling monsters. They were closed in and Dr Owens pushed them into a room. He closed and locked the door behind them and Chris took a deep breath.

"Okay, what the fuck do we do?" He asked.

"Language," Bob said but looked away when he saw Chris's look. "Oh, my God," He then said as the sound of screaming people didn't stop. They looked at the camera footage and saw monsters and dead bodies everywhere. But then the lights started flickering and not even a second later, all the electricity fell out. They were in the dark.

Dr Owens took out a map and Hopper held up a flashlight while Chris sat on the ground, leaning against a wall.

"Look, this is us, and this is the nearest exit. But even if we somehow make it there, there's no way out." He explained.

"What do you mean?" Hopper asked.

"The locks are fail-secure," Owens replied.

"Fail secure?" Joyce asked confused.

"That means that the building goes on lockdown if there's a power outage," Chris explained and everyone looked at the brunette who was still sitting on the ground. "What? I'm smart and good looking, get used to it."

"Well, can it be unlocked remotely?" Bob asked Owens.

"With a computer, sure, but somebody's gotta reset the breakers." He replied.
