"Hey, Christian, come, we're going," Steve said from Chris's bedroom door as the brunette read one of his comics.
"Why... and where?" He asked confused.
"Just come," Steve replied and left his room. Chris rolled his eyes with an annoyed sigh before quickly walking after Steve in his pyjama's. They reached his car where Carol and Tommy where already waiting.
"Hey, mini Steve," Carol waved and Chris rolled his eyes again. He never liked Carol and Tommy. Carol and Chris sat in the backseat while Steve and Tommy sat in the front. Chris looked out of the window, already having a bad day, but his mood slightly lightened when his favourite song, Sunglasses at Night, started playing. "I just don't understand why we're coming out here. She obviously doesn't wanna talk to you." Carol said after Steve explained his situation with Nancy.
"That's... that's not it," Steve replied.
"Oh, really? Because no girl would ever blow off King Steve." Carol said sarcastically and Chris had to suppress a chuckle.
"She was acting weird. I mean, something was wrong." Steve explained and Chris felt bad for his older brother.
"So what?" Carol scoffed. "Like, you're worried about her?" She asked.
"What?" Steve said confused.
"Aw, you are. Aw, Steve had a heart." Carol teased.
"Would you just—stop." Steve tried.
"Oh, Stevey's in love." Tommy teased as well as Chris sunk into the car seat.
"Would you just shut up? Shut up!" Steve snapped and Chris slightly flinched. Steve looked into his review mirror and saw a tense Chris sitting behind him. He let out a sigh before focusing on the road again. They finally stopped, and Chris's eyebrows knitted together when he saw they were at Mike's house.
"So this is it, huh? Princess' castle." Tommy said while Steve got out and opened the door for Chris.
"I'll just be a minute," He said as Chris got out.
"Wait, what do you want me to do?" He asked confused.
"I need you to distract Mike if he comes out. Just... make up something I don't know." Steve replied before he started to climb to Nancy's window. Chris sighed as he hugged his jacket closer and leaned against one of the walls. He watched as Steve was about to knock on the window when his whole face changed. He looked betrayed and heartbroken and Chris couldn't help but worry.
"Steve..." He started carefully and the older boy quickly turned his head towards him. "Is everything—"
"Let's go." Steve interrupted and jumped back down.
"Steve—" Chris tried but Steve had already dragged him back towards the car, and they left.

Chris listened to Lucas as he ranted towards him about Mike. Only he wasn't really listening. His mind was full of Will, his friends and now also his brother.
"Chris... Christian!" Lucas yelled and Chris looked up. "Were you even listening?" He asked, and just as Chris wanted to answer the doorbell rang. They ran downstairs and Lucas opened the door. Their faces fell when they saw Mike and Dustin standing outside.
"What do you want?" Lucas asked with a hint of anger. They stayed silent for a bit until Dustin slapped Mike's arm and he sighed.
"I drew first blood, so..." He said and stuck out his hand.
