5 months later

"What brings you here on an oddly sunny morning?" Jihoon asked as Jaemin plopped himself on the couch in his office. "I thought you were gonna take a day off?"

His brother just frowned at him, "Hyung!" He said and stomped his foot like a child. "I'm so dumb, I just want to vanish or jump off a cliff. Either will do." He said and sat on the chair in front of Jihoon's table.

Jihoon raised a brow, "Why the heck are you throwing tantrums at me, then?!" He asked.

"Hyung," Jaemin started. "Remember that one cursed day wherein you guys met Haejin?" He asked and his brother nodded. "I screwed up that day, hyung." He sighed.

"What do you mean, it's been months, haven't you moved on from that day?" Jihoon asked. "Haejin's like a family to us now."

"I know that..." The younger sighed. "But remember what I planned that day? I wasn't able to do it. I wasn't able to propose because I got scared." He said and sat down. "She looked too happy that day and I was scared that I might ruin it."

"Idiot," Jihoon sighed and facepalmed. "I thought that your back up plan was last February?"

"Hyung, Haejin and Mark-hyung were in Canada last February." He pouted.

"And you're telling me this because?" Jihoon raised a brow. "You need help from me, am I right?"

Jaemin slowly nodded.

Jihoon only shrugged and called someone on his phone.

The moment Jaemin came back from lunch, he saw his other siblings in Jihoon's office.

"What seems to be the problem of our maknae?" Chanyeol, who was seated on the couch while listening to some music, asked Jaemin the moment he entered.

While Jaemin only frowned, "I need full back up. I'm gonna go and start my next project, which is to get the girl of my dreams."

"Jeno, is Mark-hyung at your dorm?" Jaemin asked the guy on the other line.

"He hasn't arrived yet, but he told me earlier that he's on his way back." Jeno said. "Why?"

Jaemin sighed, "You'll know why. Call me when he arrives, thanks!"

He ended the call and drove towards the nearest cake shop. He thinks that it might come handy later, when he goes to Mark's dorm. The guys can't resist snacks. Especially cakes.

"Jaemin called because why again?" Mark asked Jeno who kept on following him the moment he arrived at their dorm. "Stop following me for a couple of minutes and tell me what you need." He said and laughed at his friend who looked ridiculous because he was wearing an elf hat.

Jeno shrugged and removed his elf hat, "I don't know, but he said that he'll be coming here later." He said and sat on the railings of the stairs which leads to the bedrooms upstairs.

A honk of a car was heard outside, causing them to stand up from their places and peep through the window. Jaemin doesn't leave signs if he arrives, he just enters the dorm as if he lives there.
