Chapter 14

"Your room is that way," Hendery pointed at the hallway to their left. "The one at the farthest point. You have a nameplate beside your door so you won't get lost."

Jaemin laughed.

"For now, let's go to noona's room."

"Who?"

"Park Jihoon's sister."

The walked through the lobby and Jaemin can't help himself but look at his surroundings. Their London headquarters wasn't as huge as their building back in Seoul, but it was still enormous.

They went in the elevator and Hendery pressed the 11th floor—the top floor, where the executives' offices are located.

Hendery knocked on the door and they heard a faint voice telling them to go inside.

Once they were inside the office, Jaemin was surprised when he saw a lot of books scattered on the floor. The shelves also looked messy, and if someone wouldn't explain things, the two of them would think that a thief broke in.

Making Jaemin remember the stolen flash drive.

The girl who was seated on the swivel chair coughed once, "I'm sorry for the mess. My stupid brother called and he was asking for a certain document and I can't find it." She rolled her eyes. She looked at the guy who was standing behind Jaemin.

"That's okay, Ma'am!" Hendery beamed. "Na Jaemin is here, and he arrived the other day."

The girl stood up and went towards them to shake hands with Jaemin, "I'm Yeeun, Jihoon and Chanyeol's sister." She smiled and went back to her table. "You don't need to start now, Jaemin-ssi. I think Jihoon might have told you that."

Jaemin nodded, "I'm looking forward to working with you." He bowed and smiled.

The girl smiled faintly and faced Hendery, "Please give him a tour for a while. I'll just fix the mess I created  here in my office." She sighed.

The two bowed and went out of the room.

"Is she always like that?" The younger whispered. "She looked so intimidating." He sighed in relief.

Hendery laughed, "She's only like that when she's busy with something." He said. "Come on, let's go to your office."

Jaemin's office. His very own.

He had always been in a huge room with the people in his team, and he had never thought of having his own.

When they arrived at his office, he was shocked when he saw that everything looked like their room back in Seoul—except that he's alone, and he's in London.

"How is this possible..." He rushed towards his desk to look at the picture frames that were displayed, and every single one of them was like the ones in Seoul.

There was a picture of him and his friends, a picture of him and his adoptive parents, his graduation picture, and a picture of him and Haejin. The arrangement was also precise, as if his desk back in Seoul was teleported to London.

There was even the water dispenser from their snack bar, and heck, he even has his own snack bar inside his office.

"You looked so surprised," Hendery laughed. "Mr. Park made us do all of this. He said that he wants you to feel at home."
