Chapter 3

"Nari~ It's time to eat!" Haejin cheered as she watched their pet dog eat. She sat beside him and combed Nari's hair. "I wonder why your dad is still not home. He's not replying to my texts." She pouted.

The dog paid no attention and continued eating, making Haejin sulk even more. "Yah, you'll ignore me too?"

"Who are you talking to?"

Haejin flinched upon hearing someone else's voice. She turned towards the door and glared at the person who just entered, "You had the nerve to scare me after ignoring all of my texts?!" She raised a brow.

Jaemin laughed and went towards his sulking girlfriend. He wrapped his arms around her waist and buried his face on her neck. "I'm sorry, love... We were busy dealing with a phishing case on one of our games and someone hacked into our systems." He sighed, sending shivers down the girl's body. "I'm sorry..." He made the hug tighter.

The girl shook her shoulders, telling Jaemin to let go. She faced him and frowned, "You could have at least replied to one of my texts so that I wasn't worrying over nothing." She pouted.

Haejin cupped Jaemin's face and pressed a kiss on his lips. "I forgive you." She smiled and hugged him again. "But please don't do that again."

He smiled and pecked her lips too, "I won't." He kissed her forehead and stood up, approaching their pet corgi. "How is Nari doing~ are you eating well?" He carried their pet and spun him around, as if Nari was a child.

"I heard you wrote an article about games and mentioned our company," Jaemin said, causing Haejin to stop cough her lungs out because she wasn't expecting it. "Hey, are you okay?" He quickly stood up to get water for her.

She nodded and reached for the glass of water Jaemin is giving her, "Y-Yes, I just..." She coughed once again, and Jaemin was patting her back to help her stop coughing. "How did you know about that?"

"Through Jisungie." He smiled. "Why do you look so embarassed, though?" He chuckled.

She sighed and continued eating, "That article placed lots of burden on my shoulders." She looked at Jaemin. "Taeyong-oppa came to our office earlier and he offered something..."

He looked at her in shock, "Did you say Taeyong-hyung?" He asked and she nodded, totally confused as to why Jaemin was acting that way. "Don't tell me it's about modelling?"

Haejin slowly nodded, "How did you know?"

Jaemin sighed and drank water, "Because the other day, Jisung paid a visit at our company during our break and he offered me the same thing." He said.

"Taeyong-oppa said that their company wanted the creator of the article, which is me, and a star employee of your company to be an ambassador of their clothing line with them..." Haejin said and Jaemin nodded.

"Jisungie told me that he told their boss that he knows who created the article and someone from 360 Innovations..." Jaemin said. "I didn't really agree with him yet, I just told him that I'll talk to you first."

She nodded, "I also told Taeyong-oppa the same thing." She sighed. "So, what should we do?"

Jaemin shrugged, "I don't know... do we have time for it?" He asked.
