"Jaemin-ah! Why did you call?" Haejin answered the call with the toothbrush still inside her mouth. Jaemin was confused because she didn't looked upset like what he had expected.

"Because something happened?" Jaemin raised a brow. "Donghyuck was serious earlier when he told me—"

"That I got promoted???"

"What?! For real?!"

Haejin chuckled, "Why would you believe Donghyuck like that?" She sat on the couch. "But yes, I got promoted earlier." She smiled.

"Congrats, love! I'm so proud of you!!!" He smiled and clapped his hands. "This calls for a celebration.."

"Not now, we're all busy at work." She sighed. "Nari-yah, come here!!" Nari jumped on Haejin's lap and licked her face. "I just washed my face, how could you, baby?" She frowned at their pet.

Jaemin chuckled, "I miss you two so much..." he sighed. "Nari's getting fluffier."

"Right? Oh my gosh I'm such a great person." She chuckled.

"Of course you are." Jaemin smiled. "I called to check on you because Donghyuck was such a—" he sighed. "You get the point."

"Yep, totally." She said. "Take care, see you soonest. I miss you so much."

"I'll call you again tomorrow. Miss you more. I love you!"

The call ended and Jaemin could only sigh. Maybe taking the offer in London was such a bad idea.

"Jaemin?"

He looked at the door only to see Hendery. "Yes hyung?"

"Miss Park said that she needs the presentation right away." Hendery said nervously.

"Now? As in now?" Jaemin raised a brow and typed quiclly. "Shit, I'm not yet done with it."

The older's eyes widened, "Oh that's not right... she's in a bad mood." He was fidgeting. "Jaemin-ah, her temper's way worse than Jihoon's."

"Hyung, give me ten minutes." Jaemin said and shook his head. "Lee Donghyuck I'm gonna kill you when I go back to Seoul." He muttered under his breath.

Just then, they heard some footsteps approaching their direction.

"Jaemin, I need the presentation." Their boss entered the room. "Now."

He gulped. "I-I just need some time to polish it—"

"Don't tell me you're not yet done with it?" Yeeun raised a brow. When Jaemin didn't respond, she scoffed, "I thought you're the best employee Jihoon had? Then what's this?" She rolled her eyes.

The boy quickly stood up from his seat and bowed repeatedly, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry... This won't happen again."

Their boss left the room, and when she did, Hendery and Jaemin could only look at each other
