Chapter 25

"What are you thinking of?" Haejin was startled upon hearing her boyfriend's voice.

She glared at him and sighed, "Just random things..."

"Such as?"

She looked st Jaemin for a while before gesturing him to sit with her on the balcony.

The night was getting deeper. Jaemin was supposed to drink water but then he noticed that Haejin wasn't lying beside him. He found her at the balcony, and Jaemin couldn't blame her because she probably still has jet lag.

"Did you know that when mom was pregnant with me, she thought I was a boy?" She chuckled at the thought.

Jaemin raised a brow, "Really? I didn't know this..." He chuckled.

Haejin nodded, "Mom was so confident because she had two sons before me. She said that she experienced the same things before with my brothers that's why they were expecting me to be a boy." She sighed, "They didn't really put much effort in buying things since my brothers already had theirs, but to their surprise, a girl came out of mom on the day I was born."

"That's the reason why my name is a boy's name; Haejin." She smiled. "I'm not sad about it though, at least my name isn't common. Even with guys, there aren't lots of guys whose name is Haejin."

"Is that what you're really thinking of?" Haejin looked at Jaemin because if his sudden question.

Because Jaemin knows that Haejin doesn't simply look at the sky just because she wants to. He knows there's something else.

Haejin sighed, "I keep on constantly worrying about things that I shouldn't even worry about." She looked down. "I don't know..."

"I just need sleep."

Jaemin couldn't reply.

December 24. London, England.

"Renjun-hyung, enough with your non-existing lovelife already!" Jisung snorted at their friend who was carrying Nari.

Renjun could only frown, "If only I could hit you, Jisung-ah." He said between gritted teeth.

"Injoon-ah, that doesn't look like the dorm. Where are you?" Jaemin asked while helping Haejin prepare the ingredients for the cake that they were baking.

The Chinese rolled his eyes, "You think I could be alone at our dorm for several weeks?" He snorted. "Well of course I can, but I chose to stay here at Kun hyung's dorm."

Haejin peeped behind Jaemin who was standing in front of the phone, "Ge, what happened to the girl? Yangyang texted me earlier, and he said that you two bumped again?"

"Yangyang is really talkative as fuck," Renjun muttered in Chinese which made Hendery laughed, but it brought confusion to the people who could not understand Chinese. "But yeah, I saw her at the bookstore earlier. She bought several gift wrappers and also some books."

"Renjun-ah, you sound like a stalker." Donghyuck said while handing Haejin the measuring cups.

"Stalking isn't the same as being curious!" Renjun whined, and Nari barked after.
