Chapter 26

January 10. Seoul, South Korea.

"Oh, Haejin and Donghyuck are back!" Ten exclaimed the moment he arrived at the office.

The two chuckled. Ten could only laugh at Donghyuck who was happily eating while doing his work. Haejin was writing some things on her notebook.

The girl suddenly remembered something and reached for the paper bag that was under her table. "Ten-oppa, Jaemin wanted to give you this." She stood up and handed him the paper bag.

"Woah, it feels new that Jaemin is the one giving us gifts." Ten chuckled. "Thank you, Haejinnie. I'll message Jaemin later." He smiled.

Haejin nodded, "The little boxes inside have name tags. Kindly give the others to them."

"I will, don't worry."

"Oh, Haejin-ah, Donghyuck-oppa, you're here!!" One of their co-workers rushed towards Haejin to give her a hug.

Haejin hugged back, "Ningningie, I missed you!" She giggled.

Once they separated from the hug, haejin squinted her eyes at her slightly younger friend. "You look blooming. Mind telling me what happened in the few weeks that I was out?" She raised a brow.

Donghyuck stood up, "I bet she's already seeing someone!" He crossed his arms.

"Is that true, Ningie?!"

The Chinese girl shook her head immediately, "No, I'm not!" She said. "But I'll be meeting RJ later."

Donghyuck and Haejin looked at each other before looking back at Ningning, "Who's RJ? You have never mentioned him before." Haejin said.

"He's just a friend that I happened to meet with the help of my cousin who works at 360 Inc." She smiled.

"360? Who? We have lots of friends who work there, too." Donghyuck said and Haejin nodded. "Haejin's boyfriend who's in London is also from 360."

"I know who Jaemin-oppa is." Ningning said. "But I'll be meeting Renjun later. He's a friend of my cousin, Dong Sicheng. I think he works under the animation department. Do you know him, perhaps?"

Donghyuck and Haejin's eyes widened, "You mean Huang Renjun?! We just don't know him, 'perhaps'! We've been friends for who knows how long... and what the fuck?" Haejin exclaimed while Donghyuck was in shock. His hand was covering his mouth to prevent him form yelling.

"Yes, yes! Huang Renjun!" Ningning said excitedly. "But why do you guys look so shocked?"

Donghyuck patted Haejin's shoulder and grabbed his phone that was on his table, "I'll talk to Renjun." They both nodded at the same time. Donghyuck went out of their department, and Haejin dragged Ningning away from there.

"Renjun, my friend, I'm happy for you!" Donghyuck cheered while running out.

"What are you thinking of?" Hendery snapped his finger in front of Jaemin who was spacing out.

The younger could only sigh, "Hyung, you know about my brother, right?"
