Chapter 13

"Jaemin-hyung, what time is it there?"

Jaemin looked at his watch to check the current time. "9:33 am." He said and sipped his coffee. "Shouldn't you be at work, Jisung-ah? And you too, Jeno." He pointed at the guy who was seated next to Jisung.

Jeno and Jisung looked at each other before laughing. "Hyung we literally just arrived from work, what are you saying?" Jisung said. "It's 5 in the afternoon here."

"Ah, right... honestly, screw the timezones." Jaemin sighed and typed something on his laptop.

"What are you up to, Jaemin?" Jeno asked and continued writing something on his notebook.

Jaemin adjusted his phone and raised it high so that his friends from the other line could see what he was doing on his laptop. "Work, of course. It's the reason why I'm here in the first place." He sighed and placed his phone down on the table once again.

"Have you adjusted to the time already?" Jisung asked. "That must be a hard thing to do." He said and mucnhed on the chips he was eating.

"I haven't even slept properly." Jaemin scratched his nape. "My body clock is still in Seoul time." He sighed.

A door from the other line opened and there were some noises. His other friends probably jut arrived from work.

"Hyuck-hyung!" Jisung greeted and adjusted the laptop so that Jaemin could see Donghyuck and Mark who just arrived.

"Jaemin-ah!" Donghyuck greeted and sat beside the younger. "How is it like to be in London?"

Jaemin chuckled, "Strange, but I'll get used to it."

"Have you talked to Haejin?" Mark asked, although he wasn't shown on screen.

"I have, when I arrived I immediately called her." Jaemin answered. "I also texted her this morning—and by morning, I mean Seoul time."

"Have you been to our London headquarters already, hyung?" Jisung asked.

"Not yet. Today and tomorrow's for resting or maybe sight seeing if I want to." Jaemin said. "I'll be going to our London headquarters the day after that. Jihoon-hyung said that his sister is the ones who supervises the London HQ."

"Why are you already working instead or taking a rest? You just arrived a couple of hours ago from a direct flight. You must be really tired." Donghyuck said. "Haejin won't like that."

"I can't sleep in one go, you know?" The guy in London sighed and continued typing. "My head already hurts."

"We should go so that you could rest." Mark saidn and Jaemin nodded. "You can call us anytime if you need someone to talk to, okay? Just please remember that we have different timezones because we don't want to wake up at two in the morning."

Jaemin chuckled, "Okay hyung. Please take care of Haejinnie and Nari!"

Mark rolled his eyes and scoffed at the younger, "You idiot. She's my sister." His voice became more serious, "Take care of yourself, Jaemin!"

"I will, hyung. Take care, you guys!" Jaemin waved in front of the camera.

"Bye, hyung! We miss you!" Chenle said before the call went off.
