Chapter 12

She was about to drift to dreamland, but her phone suddenly rang.

And it was the call she has been waiting for all day.

It was Jaemin.

She sat up and opened her phone. She clicked the green button to answer his call, and when she did, Jaemin's smiling face was shown on the screen.

It felt like forever.

"Hi Love!" She smiled and waved her hand in front of the camera.

"Did I wake you up?" He asked from the other line. Haejin could hear the noise coming from Jaemin's place. He looked like he just came out of the plane.

Haejin shook her head, "I was about to sleep, but you called. I'm not complaining though."

He chuckled, "I'm sorry, but I just wanted to let you know that the plane already landed. I'm finally here in London!" Jaemin's surroundings became a bit brighter and she realized that he was already outside the airport.

Her boyfriend spin around to show his surroundings, while Haejin could only laugh at Jaemin's childishness. "How's the surroundings, so far?"

"It's not much different from Seoul." Jaemin said. "But there are more people, I believe."

Haejin nodded, "What time is it there?"

"7:51 pm. You should be sleeping now, though. Why did you stay up so late?" Jaemin asked.

The girl sighed and lied down. "I tried to finish the powerpoint presentation regarding the stocks earlier, that's why."

Jaemin nodded, "Have you finished it already?"

"Nope, but I'm halfway done. I couldn't finish it because there were some data missing." Haejin answered. "What about you? How far is your place from the airport?"

"I have no idea, but Lucas-hyung's cousin will pick me up." He said. "He's working at our London branch, that's why I know him."

"Have you eaten?"

He shook his head, "I haven't eaten anything since the plane took off. Ah, except for the snacks that were given in he plane, of course."

"Make sure to eat a lot once you get there, okay?" She said.

Jaemin nodded, "I will." He smiled and greeted someone. "Hendery-hyung is here, Haejin-ah. I have to go now so that you could sleep." He then turned around so that he could show Hendery to Haejin.

"Hello, Haejin-ssi! Nice to meet you through the phone." He chuckled.

Haejin waved, "Hello, Hendery-ssi! Please look after Jaemin!" She chuckled.

The other male nodded and helped Jaemin with his luggage.

Jaemin faced the camera once again, "Take care, Love! Make sure to eat a lot okay?"
