Damon was speechless as Kai tried explaining what had happened. Diana's body had laid on the couch, the stake had been removed and a blanket had covered her, as if she was just sleeping. Anastasia fought the urge to break down in Bonnie's arms after losing another best friend. Caroline and Elena were called over and hadn't stopped crying.

Anastasia then slammed a book on the table in anger and went to the room where James' was being held. Bonnie followed her to get her to calm down. Kai couldn't stand not to hear Diana's breathing and walked outside. Damon looked to his sister on the couch. He was so incredibly angry at himself for not being able to save her. He felt that he failed her. One of the people he loved most, and he let her die. Stefan came up behind him and put a hand to his brothers shoulder in comfort. Damon brought up his hand to Stefan's and they stayed there in silence.

When Kai stepped outside he got in Diana's car. He had a spare key when she allowed him to borrow it sometimes. When he sat in the front seat, he was immediately greeted by her smell. Vanilla. He didn't like it on anyone else but her. The way it smelled on her was heavenly. He couldn't believe he could be so...sad, about the loss of a person. He couldn't believe he could miss the way a person smells. The way she laughed, the way she talked, how she made him feel. He missed all that and it was only been an hour. What was keeping him here now? What was he really here for?

"Hello Parker." A voice said.

He signed and looked up. Turning his head he saw Runa in the passengers seat.

"Not in the mood, if you're going to kill me, then kill me." He was so tired.

"Oh I plan too. You stay in the house of the man who killed my son, I will condemn you for that. First I need something from you." She had to control her anger.

"You will get shit from me." He went to open the door.

Runa waved her finger and locked the door so he couldn't escape. He sighed again.

"I need you to travel to New Orleans and kill Niklaus Mikaelson." She said as he wiggled the door handle.

"Absolutely not." He laughed humorless.

"His death will insure Damon and Stefans, even James and the bitchy one Katerina. Every single vampire that came from Nik's blood has irritated me in some way. You'll be a good way to get rid of him." She rambled.

"Yeah that's great," he barely paid attention.

"I'll bring Diana back."

He stopped wiggling the door handle and froze in his seat. How does he answer that? Was she lying? Multiple thoughts ran through his mind in a nanosecond. "How?"

She smirked slightly. "I have a special dagger that'll kill him easily, and a special spell that resurrects the dead. I just need your help." She ran a finger across his cheek.

"If Diana came back and found out I was the reason her brothers are dead , what would he the point?" He was actually considering.

"That'll just be our little secret. Don't you want to be with the woman you love?"

Yes his inner thoughts said. He shook his head and closed his eyes. Was he really going to do this? Runa could be lying, Klaus could kill him instead, Diana could come back weirdly. So many bad things could happen. He cared about what Diana would want. He's never cared about that kind of thing before. So he made a decision.

"When do I leave?"

She smirked, clearly happy. "As soon as possible."
