Diana walked into her house to see bunches of people, some she didn't even know. She arrived to mystic falls with Stefan. She went to school with him, Caroline, Bonnie and Elena. She was a good student and enjoyed her small time at college. Her and Elena were big reasons for Damon's good side. Despite being Stefans twin, Damon was the brother she was closest to.

She felt a little suffocated with everyone here. Of course she was locked alone in a room for a year. Caroline spotted Diana and happily ran over to her.

"Hey Deedee! Like your party?" The blonde smiled.

'It's amazing Cece' she wrote. It sucked she had to carry around her stupid notepad everywhere. But everyone understood that she had only been back for a day and needed some time to recover.

"There's drinks and food, all your favorites. Ana is with Bonnie, I haven't seen James or Stefan, you know how antisocial they are, and Damon is dancing with Elena."

Diana nodded her head and went to get a drink of water. Despite being related to Damon, she didn't like the taste of most alcohol. She didn't know why, it was just always gross to her. Kai caught sight of the blonde and noticed how different she looked from the first time he saw her. Her skin tone was less dead body like, the bags under her eyes had healed, her lips were pink and her cheeks were the same with blush. He went up to her with a cup in his hands and offered to make one for her.

She shook her head politely. 'I don't drink'

"Ah I see. Alcoholic?" He joked.

She made a fake amused face and turned back to get some water.

"Ooh, I learned something today." He said excitedly.

He made movements with his hands and Diana immediately knew what he was doing. 'how you doing?' He signed. Diana smiled. James and Diana when they were still humans while she was teaching his brother how to sign. After he passed, her and James stayed close.

'nice job signing, did james teach you?' She signed back.

"I actually only learned that one phrase, James was very confusing at teaching me."

Diana silently laughed. She wrote 'nice job' on her notepad and he smiled proudly. Then she caught sight of Anastasia and Bonnie talking. Bonnie seemed to laugh rather loudly and everyone looked at her weirdly. Anastasia put hair behind her ear and Diana knew she felt proud for making Bonnie laugh.

"Aren't they a sight?" Kai said to her.

Diana nodded and as if a spell was cast, people came up to her abruptly. Welcoming her back from her "study abroad in Paris" and praising her for her "vow of silence." She hugged everyone and smiled as she made fake stories on her notepad to tell people. It became exhausting after about five minutes. Dealing with so many people at one time. That's something she never felt before, she loved talking and socializing. But this party made her feel tired.

"Our guest of honor will be leaving now." Kai said kindly before death staring everyone. "Go away."

She locked arms with him as he took her to her friends. 'thank you' she signed. He winked to her and stayed close as James told her all about Lucy.
