Right now the only people in the hospital room were Kakashi and (Y/n). The doctor that had said (Y/n) was in labour had left some time ago because he said that she still wasn't dilated enough, so they'd have to wait some more. Meanwhile, he went and searched for Tsunade.

Normally, Tsunade wouldn't take care of regular labour. But given the fact that this was Kakashi's son, that people were after him, and that she herself was sure this shouldn't be happening, she decided she'd take care of it this time.

So while Tsunade was woken up (as it was the middle of the night) and went there, and (Y/n) dilated in between heavy contractions, Kakashi held her hand looking worriedly at her.

It was awful. She'd be okay and then suddenly she'd feel heavy pain on her belly. And it would go on and off every 3 minutes. It was exhausting, and Kakashi couldn't do anything but watch the person he loved the most suffer.

"How much longer" (Y/n) said with greeted teeth, moving on the bed as she tried to find a way to make the pain go away.

The doctor that just came in took a look at her.

"If this keeps up, in a couple of minutes when Tsunade's here we'll proceed" the doctor announced, leaving again.

"He's going to be premature" (Y/n) said when she felt the pain give her some slack for the next two minutes.

"He'll be fine. He's a healthy boy, Tsunade said it" Kakashi tried to reassure her as he kissed her temple "You just focus on this, okay?"

(Y/n) was going to answer him but she was beginning to feel the pain going after her again. And after a couple of minutes, Tsunade came through the door, putting on the hospital coat as she inspected (Y/n).

Two more nurses came in and helped (Y/n) through the regular procedures that required an injection and some pills that helped her with the pain, though only because it was about to get way worse.

"Now it's the time to push, (Y/n)" Tsunade ordered her, and though (Y/n) was finally relieved that they were starting the last phase, she was scared because of the pain she was starting to feel.

Like Tsunade ordered her to do, she began pushing, though the more she pushed the more pain she'd feel too. And obviously, the more exhausted she got.

While (Y/n) pushed, feeling her whole body sweat and burn from the strength and pain, and her face contorted in an anguished and hurting grimeace, Kakashi looked at her with a hurt scowl.

He hated to see her like that, to hear her screams that though she had tried to keep them, they ended up ripping through her throat. Right now, he didn't care that he could even feel his bones in his hands crack a couple of times from how hard (Y/n) was gripping at him. As long as it helped her, he didn't care. Though sometimes his hand would get blue and he'd had to give her his other hand to rest a little.

"You're doing fine, (Y/n). Keep pushing" Tsunade said "Do it in short series to make sure you breathe in and don't exhaust yourself too much" she said, though (Y/n) was a little too busy to listen to her entirely.

"You're doing great, baby" Kakashi told her, watching her deep frown and kissing her temple before she let go of another yelp "You're doing amazing, I love you so much" he did the only thing he could think of to make her feel less bad.

"I can see the head already, keep pushing" Tsunade kept saying while Kakashi's heartbeat fastened at her words.

Kakashi's hands wrapped themselves better around (Y/n)'s when suddenly there was a mild earthquake in the hospital. Everyone looked around except for (Y/n) who again was too busy with the task at hand. And then, there looked to be a commotion somewhere else in the hospital.
