Sakuto was slowly growing older, and though he wasn't a year old yet he was getting closer. He had gone through all seasons already. He was once in winter, although he was too much of a baby to realize and in fact, the warmth of blankets and her parent's bodies made him be completely oblivious about it. Especially because all he did at the time was eating, peeing and pooping, sleeping, and staring at his parents.
He then went through spring, which was when he first started to go out of his house. It was then when he realized there were more adults besides his parents, though he wasn't that fond of the attention people gave him. He didn't like big stranger people to talk to him, he just wanted his parents.
Then summer came, a time where there were several attempts of making Sakuto understand why he should wear clothes, the heat for him was just too much, and ended up getting naked. In the end (Y/n) and Kakashi gave up and Sakuto would be all day in diapers or sometimes not even.
And now, it was winter again, and this time, because he was a little older he now realized how annoying it was to have so many layers on him. They were bothersome when he wanted to play, move and explore. But there was something good about that and it was a green scarf his parents wrapped around him. It had some shuriken pattern on it and it protected him from the cold breeze. It was a little annoying when he was playing, that's true, but it covered half of his face which he loved because he resembled his father.
In the beginning, Sakuto didn't like it when Kakashi wore his mask. He didn't understand it and he hated it. He had only seen his father at home, and he never wore it there. So when people started visiting, or they went outside their place, he realized Kakashi covered his face. And Sakuto didn't like it. He'd try to pull it off and throw a small tantrum. But little by little he ended up getting used to it, and in the end, he even got to like how he only showed his face around him and his mom. He thought it made his dad look cool because to him his dad was the coolest and the greatest. So he wanted to be just like him. And that scarf allowed him to do just that.
But we're going off track here. The thing was that Sakuto was slowly growing older. He now paid more attention to his books. He still preferred it when his father or mother read them to him because they'd cuddle him and he was able to hear their soothing voices. He even had his favorite book already, and when he was too calm to play he'd stare at the pages of the book, at the drawings and words even though he didn't know how to properly talk, let alone read. Though he was now able to say more words aside from "mama" and "dada".
He was also slowly realizing that he loved to receive and give affection. He still was too young to understand, but now he knew what he had to do when he felt that need. He loved to give hugs and he was constantly crawling to their parents to surprise them with hugs. Especially because each time he did their parents would smile and hug him back, which made him happier. This made Kakashi's heart feel lighter because though his son might have looked like him physically (at least according to what people repeated over and over again) he knew that in personality he was more like (Y/n). He was so grateful that Sakuto was such a bundle of joy, so loving and cute... But he wasn't always an angel. After all, he still was a toddler that didn't understand everything. He had a growing and insatiating curiosity for everything, which added to his energy could sometimes make him annoying.
Like all babies he didn't think that the concept of danger could even exist, so he didn't think anything he did could harm him. Neither he understood the difference between what was good and bad, he didn't even know of the concepts.
Kakashi gasped at the sight in front of him.
"What have you done, Sakuto?!" Kakashi said with a big scowl, looking at his son sitting in the middle of the mess he had made.
