Kakashi x Reader II

Chapter 20

"Do you need help?" Kakashi asked as he watched me trying to put on my ninja sandals with some difficulties.

"No" I scowled a little bit rudely, stretching as I finally managed to zip up the zipper. Kakashi sighed.

"Why won't you let me take care of you?" he said with a slight worry in his frown as he helped me up.

"'Cause I'm not invalid. I can do it" I said stubbornly, making him sigh again as he opened the door and we exited our home.

"I know you can" he said, slipping his ringed hand with mine, looking at me as we got away from our apartment "But I want to help my pregnant wife, baby" he said, kissing my temple before we kept walking towards the dango shop.

We were supposed to go on our daily walks, but since I woke up I had been pretty annoying about wanting sweets. So Kakashi ended up shutting me up by saying we'd stop by the dango shop later on. And now is later on.

We entered the dango shop hand in hand, and immediately three teens at a table turned to us, frowning the moment they saw us. Kakashi and I sweat-dropped a little, confused for the faces we were getting, but greeted them nevertheless.

"Hey there guys" I smiled at them.

"It's true! It's true! Look at her stomach oh my god" Naruto said with wide eyes and a smile, but Sakura punched him in the head "Ouch! What's wrong with you?"

"Don't talk of her size like that, you idiot" she said in whispers while Kakashi and I sweat-dropped a little more. Kakashi sighed by my side.

"I'll go order your favorite, you sit and rest while you answer their questions" Kakashi said, kissing me on my head before leaving. I sat at their table.

"Is it true, (Y/n)?" Kiba asked with crossed arms. And I nodded, gaining a huff from him "I can't believe you didn't tell me, and instead I had to know from Shikamaru" Kiba said annoyed.

"It doesn't matter" Naruto said with a grin "Kakashi-sensei's gonna be a father" he burst out laughing, holding his belly and almost spilling milk from his nostrils.

"You two cut it" Sakura said "You're overwhelming her" she said with a twitching brow, but then she got all excited immediately after "Kakashi-sensei's having a kid. I love kids!" she exclaimed with a smile, but then blushed "Do you know if it's a boy or a girl yet?"

"A boy" I answered with a warm smile as I hugged my now unhideable womb.

"A little Kakashi hehe" Sakura giggled to herself, making me giggle too at the thought. But I was interrupted by Naruto's loud cough as he choked on his sweets.

"Sakura, do you know what that means right?" Naruto asked. Just then Kakashi appeared behind me. He placed his hand on my nape as he laid my favorite flavored dangos in front of me, and then sat next to me "We will finally be able to know how Kakashi-sensei's face looks like without a mask!" his eyes glistened in joy, and so did Sakura after his words. Meanwhile Kakashi just deadpanned next to me.

"In what way would a newborn's face resemble mine, exactly?" Kakashi asked with his typical bored expression.

"Well your son won't stay a baby forever! He will grow old eventually" Naruto explained, but Kakashi smirked confidently under his mask.

"W-what are you grinning about?" Naruto asked, scared, but Kakashi didn't answer. I then noticed Kiba's distant behavior. He was still with his arms crossed, looking away with a frown. But before I could say or even think of anything, my attention was put on Sakura as he suddenly grabbed my hand.
