I'm Insulted That You're Insulted

Alya was sitting in her dorm, packing her clothes getting ready to leave Brookdale for the summer, when Elle and Sam raced into the room. Both girls breathing heavily, Alya raised a brow at the two.

"Alya... do you have any idea why there's a second moon in the sky?!" Sam questioned, Alya's eyes widen.

"There is a second what in the what?" Alya dropped everything that she was doing and made her way to her window. Opening the blinds, Alya scanned the sky, to see that there was indeed a large mass in the sky, not that far from the moon. "Holy shit, there is a second moon. Why the hell is there another moon in the sky?"

"We don't know that's why we're asking you."

Spirit and Spark stood with Impulse, Beast Boy, Blue Beetle, Superboy, Arsenal, Wonder Girl, Wolf, Bumblebee, Mal, who is now going by Guardian in the second 'moon', known as the war world to shut it down from the inside, while the League distracts Mongul, the tyrant controlling the War World and attacking the Earth. Robin and Batgirl had stayed in the Bioship to give an assist to the Leaguers outside of the War World. Soon the team broke up into three teams, Spirit left with Alpha squad, which included, Arsenal, Wonder Girl, Superboy, and Wolf. While Spark went with Beta Squad, Blue Beetle, Beast Boy, and Impulse.

"Alpha Squad to Watchtower." Superboy radioed as he, Arsenal, and Wolf run through the corridors of the War World, while Wonder Girl and Spirit fly above them."Green Beetle's schematics are on the money at least so far. We're on route to take down Mongul. No, commander, the threat ends."

"Beta Squad is en route to the key chamber." Blue Beetle informs as he flies above Impulse and Spark, while Beast Boy as a bird flies beside the two running teammates. "We snag the crystal key and the threat ends."

"Gamma Squad is en route to disable the Warworld's power core." Bumblebee said through the coms. "No power and the threat ends."

"Delta Squad moving into position," Batgirl said through the coms as well. "Laying down cover fire for surface forces...now."

Spark, Blue, Impulse, and Beast Boy round the corner to see a mag rail to come to a stop. The four teens stopped in their tracks, Beast Boy, still as a bird landed on Impulse's arm.

"Nowhere to hide," Blue said, the doors of the train opened and Prisma shaped battle drones exited the train and started to fire at the four teens. Spark turned into electricity instantly, she jumped from multiple drones in her electrical form frying them, causing them to fall to the ground uselessly. Blue Beetle, Beast Boy, and Impulse also did their part in destroying the battle drones, while Blue radioed to the rest of the team.

"Beetle to Watchtower. We've been spotted!" Blue Beetle informed them. "The Warworld knows we're here."

"Fine with me. I like the attention." Guardian replies. Spark reappeared, punching one of the drones, she furrowed her brows in confusion at Guardian's statement. "At least a big alien Death Moon notices when I'm around."

Spirit swung her staff like a baseball bat, sending a large gust of wind at the incoming battle drones. Several drones flew back and hit the walls destroying most of them. The ones that weren't damaged flew back up like nothing and fired at them, Superboy rushed forward, punching the few that was left, Wonder Girl was blocking the blasts with her bracelets. While Superboy fought off the remaining drones, and a wave of more drone came from around the corner.

"Oh, you have to be kidding me." Spirit groaned, "Why can't anything be easy!" Before Spirit could do anything to send those drone flying, Arsenal launches a whole missile at them, the missile explodes blowing the ceiling open, while sending Superboy to the ground, as well destroying all of the drones.
