Are You High?

Spark sat next to Beast Boy in Star Labs, as they wait to be called in by Black Canary. They were there with the other kids from the Reach ship, that was experiment on, Lagoon Boy, Blue Beetle, and Impulse, who was tapping his hands at super speed. Everyone was glaring at the speedster, and finally, Blue Beetle who sat next to him, grabbed his wrist, stopping him.

"Oh. Ah, sorry." Impulse apologizes, but after a few short moments, he started tapping his foot instead.

"Okay!" Spark exclaimed angrily, Spark's head snapped towards the speedster with a glare. "If you don't stop tapping, I will make you!"

"Sorry." Impulse mumbled, and he stopped moving his foot, just as the door opens, and a boy walks out with Black Canary following.

"Thank you, Tye." Black Canary tells him, before calling on one of the other abducted teens. "Virgil?"

Spark crossed her arms, she was frustrated with the Reach, with school, with just in all just frustrated. She knew that she wanted to actually start trying to be friends with the team, and not just some half-ass effort, she didn't know who to start with though. She could start with Robin, it wasn't like she hasn't spoken to him before. And there's Cassie, the two of them were most of their missions were together, same with Batgirl. But Spark doesn't think that Batgirl, like her all that much due to her bailing on most of their missions, but Cassie somehow doesn't hate her.

"Tye!" Blue Beetle exclaimed, standing up in his seat and looking at the boy that just came out of the room with Black Canary. Spark's brows furrowed at the older teen, who paused and then raised his arms over his hand, "Time to stretch! Ah. Yep, got to keep limber." Blue Beetle move back to his seat, Spark leaned over, looking at Blue.

"Are you high?"

BLUDHAVEN

Spirit had gone with Nightwing to show Miss Martian, Superboy, and Mal were they were staying for the time being, since Mount Justice had been destroyed. Any other day, Spirit would have stayed with Spark at S.T.A.R Labs, but today Spirit needed to stay with Nightwing.

"Nice," Mal said, as he, Superboy, Ms. Martian jump off of the supercycle. "Perfect cover for our digs."

"Is he seeing the same place I'm seeing?" Spirit whispered to her boyfriend. "This place is an absolute dump."

"On the outside, I mean it's downright nasty," Mal says, causing Spirit to look at him confused.

"So he is seeing the same place I'm seeing," Spirit said, as they make their way into the building.

Mal's expression fall, as he sees the inside of the warehouse that Nightwing had brought them to. "And it's nasty on the inside, too. April fools, right? I mean, this is the team's new HQ?" The warehouse was nothing special, it was gross like Mal had stated, with several cots, and blue curtains to section off. "Where's the secret trapdoor to our real base?"

"No secret trapdoor." Nightwing told him, "And it's not our new HQ. For the time being, we'll operate out of the basement of the Hall of Justice. This is just a place to crash. A very temporary stopgap place to crash for those of you who were actually living at the cave."

"It's moments like this I'm glad that I landed in this universe three years before the team was formed. Because God knows, Hal would have dropped me and I would be living in this dump." Spirit muttered, looking around the building with disgust.

"It's fine," Superboy said. The three of them plus Wolf go to get settled into the warehouse.

"I'm sorry about the lack of privacy, M'gann," Nightwing said to Ms. Martian as he and Spirit make their way over to her. Was given the bed in the corner of the bottom floor, and it had curtains around it. 'This curtain will have to do for now but we'll figure something else out."
