RIMBOR

June 20; 00:32 UTC

Spark and Spirit flew into the courtroom flying over the heads of the aliens that were walking out, with Ms. Martian, Superboy, and Doctor Adam Strange closely behind them. "Good news, good news." Spirit cheered, with a grin. "We have good news, Icon, Hawkman."

"We've brought new evidence." Ms. Martian informed them with the same grin. "The Light and the Reach on holographic record admitting they framed the League. It should easily clear them of all charges."

"Yeah!" Spirit threw her arms in the air. "Those guys should be running home free in no time!" Spirit noticed the sadden expression of the two Leaguers. "Uh, what's with the gloom and glum? We just said we have no evidence! That's good news!'

"I'm sorry." Icon told her. "You're too late." Both Spirit and Spark's eyes widen, as Icon explains that the high council had already made their decision and found the League guilty. Spark was quick to tell him, that they needed to make them change their decision.

"Your new evidence is compelling, Icon." The pink blob alien sat in the middle of the other two members of the court. "But the High Court has already ruled. The fact that we even reconvened--"

"Apologies, your honor, but this is a confession solidly placing blame for the attack on Rimbor on the true criminals responsible, the Light." Icon told them. "And it provides their motive, bringing Earth to the Reach's attention."

"Yes, yes, but you have you nothing more to offer?" He pressed, Spark crossed her arms, as she glares at him.

"Corrupt government at work here," Spark muttered, as everyone looks down in defeat.

"We do have more to offer." Superboy rushes forward speaking up, causing everyone to look at him with wide eyes.

"We do?" Spirit questioned in a whisper.

"Lovely." The main alien sits back down, looking at the clone.

"Well, uh.." Superboy looked at Ms. Martian and Spirit for help.

"Uh, this is a Court of Justice." Ms. Martian stepped forward. "I mean, the decisions of the tribunal have repercussions throughout the galaxy."

"Right. And what we have to offer is opportunity." Superboy adds.

"Yes, opportunity!" Spirit stepped forward, throwing her arms in the air. Now was her time to shine, spitting out random words, that made no sense but total sense at the same time to confuse or manipulate a person, was her game. "We're giving you, you!" Spirit raised off her feet, pointing at the Court. "The High Court of Rimbor the opportunity to prove that you are true and just with your rulings here!"

"That is not the more we are accustomed to receiving." The pink blob crosses what Spirit could assume are his arms.

"Yes, yes, I know... but... But think about it! You give the League a fair trial, and everyone, and I mean everyone, hears about it. And I mean who wouldn't; us Earthlings are pretty popular now of days," Spirit faked popping her collar. "I think a whole bunch of other people will bring their disputes here, and the real mores you're looking for coming in. Ten times the amount you had before you freed the League!"

The Court seemed pleased with what Spirit had to say, Superboy, and Ms. Martian stood next to each other speaking in a whisper, and Spark and Spirit stood next to each other, as the High Court rethinks the League's sentence.

"I'm thinking of trying to figure out the history of this little thing," Spark spoke up, holding up the crystal that's around her neck. "The past few months had told me anything, is that there is more to this crystal than what it appears. There's also more to my parents' death than what it seemed."
