Last Time

BRI POV

I was breathing heavily trying to catch my breath; Paul had his head on my shoulder his breathing slowly evening out.  I played with the hair on the back of his neck as I sighed in contempt.

"I love you." He whispered into my neck before he leaned back.

"I love you too." I said kissing his shoulder as he gently eased me into the floor.  I watched Paul fix his pants as he grabbed his shirt slipping it over his head. I heard him chuckle which brought me out of my daze. I slightly had a headache from hearing his thoughts but I was trying to block it out, he was thinking of me, having me back, he was so relieved, happy, excited and nervous I'd leave again, that was the thought that hurt.

"You ok?"

"Yeah, fine."

"Sure."

"Yes Paul, I'm fine, slight headache."

"Thoughts?" I nodded at him as he helped me back into my basically nonexistent outfit.

"You look hot in this."

"Thanks don't hurt anybody please stay calm."

"How." I saw him pause as he collected himself.

"Sorry I didn't mean to, I can't really help it much."

"It's ok, and I'll try it just makes me angry all them looking at you, in that, you're mine." I followed him out and back to the table. Sam stood up looking between us and was in shock when I grabbed him and hugged him.

"Sammy." I said as I felt my eyes water.

"Bri. God, I missed you." I grabbed him tighter before I looked and saw Case. 'Thank you' I mouthed to him. I then was pulled from my brother roughly by my boss.

"Really! I already told you before." I shoved his hands off me pushing him back.

"Keep your fucking hands off me, this is my family and you're an asshole so fuck you and I quit." I said before punching him in the face and grabbing Paul's hand. As we got to the cars I kind of paused and looked at everyone.

"What is it?" I looked at Sam smirking, he always knew.

"Well I wasn't supposed to work here tonight someone called off and I said screw it and took the extra money, speaking of which Paul you owe me but before we leave I need to call my other boss and I was supposed to work my other job tonight, Sam it isn't as bad as here, just let me do the shift and we can leave, please. My boss is amazing and I really don't wanna let her down." Sam looked at Case who laughed.

"She is right I been to the place she works it isn't as bad as here and she wears twice the clothing."

"Last time."

"Thanks." I jumped hoping in my car as all but Paul climbed in mine.

. I pulled out as the other followed and before I knew it was at Burlesque. I got out of the car running to the entrance where the bouncer Big E was.

"Hey, E that group walking up is Fam let em in." I said kissing his cheek.

"Will do nice to see you kid." I nodded jogging up to Tess's office; I knocked softly hearing her and Sean talking.

"Come in." I opened the door as they both stopped talking.

"Bri, what are you doing here."

"Tess, remember that time I got drunk and basically spilled my guts."

"Yes, I think we both do." She said motioning to Sean.

"He's here, ok well half them are."

"Your brother tracked you to L.A."

"Yeah." Tess sighed as she walked up.

"When are you leaving me kiddo."

"After tonight, I am so sorry, I really like it here, you have done so much for." I stopped as Tess held up her hand.

"Don't apologize, you have been one of the best performers to ever walk in that door and you remind me of me, the drive and ambition."

"Yes and if any of those tall muscular guys are single and want to mingle please let me know."

"Sean not your type but I'll tell them."

"Which is yours."

"Well they thought looking different would make me not recognize them but the one who added grey to their hair is my dumbass brother and the guy with the lip ring and buzz cut is mine."

"Very, very nice."

"Thanks, Sean."

"Sean let her change, go knock 'em dead honey." I hugged Tess before running to the changing area and getting ready as fast as I could.
