In the two months that Brianna has been gone, I have proceeded to look everywhere for her. I spent a week in Canada searching for her and traveled as far south as I could get. I spent the rest of my time questioning what I had done wrong, why did she leave me. I looked down at the note in my hands reading it again.

Paul,

I love you, I feel like I need to start there, I didn't believe in love I wasn't that kind of girl, but you, you made me believe. You showed me the best times I've had probably ever and I have grown and experienced so much with you. I'm blessed to have you in my life and to have you love. You may be hot-headed but you are such an amazing person. You're strong, smart, funny, caring, sweet, and absolutely fucking gorgeous and I never want you to let someone take that from you. I know you are aware of everything that has happened now and I hope you can understand why I left.

I am no longer good for you, I'm not the same girl I was, and I know you see it too. I don't feel like you need to deal with that, you don't deserve it. I wanted nothing more than to spend the rest of my life with you Paul and I'm sorry that was taken from us. I'm sorry for all the pain I have caused you and I hope you can forgive me. Please do not come and look for me, I want you to move on, to be happy. Find a good girl to treat you right, I'm sorry that it can no longer be me. I want you to remember me when I was happy when we were happy. Please never forget me because I'll never forget you, you'll always have my heart Paul Alexander Lahote. I loved her, I didn't care she had powers she was still her, she still had a heartbeat, still phased, she was no different I loved her. I wanted my fiancée, why did she leave me.

"Paul." I turned my head looking up at Sam as he walked in the door with Jake and Nessie in tow.

"What."

"Carlisle needs to speak with you." Jake said looking at me. I stood up and followed them to the Cullen's. I walked in following Jake to the office where everyone was sitting around with tears in their eyes.

"So what's going on, did someone find Bri, Alice did you see her yet?"

"No Paul, I'm sorry. She's smart she knows my powers and is using it to her advantage and finding ways around it." She said leaning into Jasper.

"Paul, Bella is it possible for you to use your power on him the way you can with Edward?"

"Yes, I can try." She said walking over to me. She then showed me everything that Brianna had shown to Carlisle. By the time she was done, I was on my knees with tears streaming down my face. I couldn't believe what she had gone through. I suddenly felt angry and felt myself shaking. Jake and Sam grabbed me dragging me out of the house just in time to step back as I phased. I howled in agony before running images of what happened flashing through my mind. I stopped when I heard a whimper and Sam behind me.

"What. Paul tell me that's not real."

"I can't Sam, I failed her." I feel to the ground crying the sound coming out as whimpers. I looked up as Emmett raced up.

"Sam you need to phase back Leah just showed up, Case called Emily." Sam and I looked at each other before phasing and throwing on shorts before following Emmett. When we got to the Cullen's Leah was pacing outside.

"We need to go, he found her."

"What, where?"

"She's in L.A."

"She's with him."

"Not exactly."

"What do you mean not exactly Leah?" Sam said.

"He saw her, he followed her and she's staying with her friend Kara and working at Forever 21 and Fantasy Factory and someplace called Burlesque."

"What's that?"

"What does it sound like Sam?"

"Like something that's going to piss me off."

"Well, then both of you should get pissed because that's what it is." Sam growled and started shaking as I tried to process what was going on.

"Leah are you saying my fucking fiancée is." I trailed off not wanting to even finish the sentence. She was mine no one and I mean no one was too see her but me.

"Say it, Paul."

"We're going to get her."

"I'm going." She stated.

"Then let's go." We got in Bri's car that she had left at home and drove down to L.A.
