4 MONTHS LATER

Things had been great, Sam didn't know Paul and I were engaged, actually, no one did except Emily and Leah. Every time we tried to talk to Sam he would go the hell off. I wore my ring on a necklace and Paul and I had gotten tattoos on our ring fingers.  Jake had run off because Bella sent him a damn wedding invitation, then he showed up on her wedding night then got into an argument with her. Then she came home pregnant which is where we are now, in a fucking wood yard having a meeting. Sam just saw Jake's thoughts we all did, she's pregnant.

I heard so many different words, I felt disgusted, I may not agree with Bella's choice but a baby is a baby.

"We must destroy it." My head jerked up hearing my brother's words. Before I could protest Jake did.

"NO"

"Yes Jacob, we will.  That thing is a danger to us all."

"You're not my alpha. I am the grandson of Ephraim Black, not you." I watched in awe as Jake accepted his alpha and stood up to Sam before running off. Seth followed shortly after. To say Sam was pissed was an understatement. The pack was becoming divided.

"Sam I won't listen to this it's wrong."

"WHAT." Both he and Paul yelled at me

"It's an innocent child you guys."

"Innocent my ass it's a leech."

"It's still a defenseless child."

"It's an order Brianna, it will be destroyed." I felt tears in my eyes at Sam's tone. I didn't want this. I didn't talk to him or Paul the whole way to Emily's. Leah went home pissed off and sad while the rest of us stayed.

"What's wrong with you Brianna?"

"What do you mean Paul?"

"That thing is a danger and you're defending it."

"It's an innocent defenseless child, how would you feel if someone wanted to kill your child."

"This is different."

"How so?"

"It just is."

"No, it's not."

"It deserves to die!" He yelled in my face. I couldn't believe he would ever say something like that. I pulled my chain breaking it as I put my ring in his hand.

"I can't believe you of all people could ever say something like that. The guy I fell in love with wouldn't act like this." I turned and walked out making my way to Sue's house. I needed Leah. I stopped as I saw Leah sneaking into the woods behind her house. I quickly followed her staying hidden until she crossed the treaty line.

"Lee, what are you doing?" She jumped turning and noticing me for the first time.

"What are you doing Bri."

"Fight with Lahote, what are you doing."

"I have to get Seth, I won't leave him alone. Why are you following me?"

"I can't stand beside them and fight for something I don't believe in." I went to speak again when a sharp pain ripped through my body making me fall to my knees.

"AH." I groaned out. Leah was on her knees in an instant.

"Bri." She asked in a worried tone.

"Lee." I gasped in pain tears falling from my eyes.

"Holy fuck." I followed Leah's gaze seeing my legs covered in blood before blackness took over.

PAUL POV

I was shaking in anger pacing in Sam's kitchen, I can't believe she walked out and gave me her ring back. I feel to the floor as a sudden pain ripped through my body. Sam was next to me in a second.

"What's wrong." My teeth were grinding together as the pain keep stabbing through my body, I groaned out one word.

"Bri." I saw Sam say something to Jared who took off. Sam helped me to a couch where I laid down. Ten minutes passed before Jared busted through the door.

"Sam they're gone."

"WHAT." I sat up looking at Jared's panic-stricken face.

"Who."

"Leah, and Bri." Sam and I looked at each other before we bolted out the door phasing as we jumped off the porch.
