"Ok so we are grabbing a quick bite, however, you two I have a surprise." Alice said smiling as she looked to Paul and me.

"What." She bounced happily and clapped as she looked behind us. I saw a limo pulling up to the curb as the driver got out.

"Mrs. Hale?"

"That would be me." Alice said walking up to him and shaking his hand. He opened the door for her before she stopped.

"Oh honey this won't be for me this was a special surprise for my two friends here. The plans are still the same." She said motioning for me and Paul to get in.

"Alice."

"Bri get in, you two deserve some fun, go on a real date for once. Besides, it's a celebration."

"Then shouldn't everyone."

"Bri will you two hardheaded children please just listen to me, for once."

"Ok, and thank you."

"You're welcome, Paul get the look off your face it is fine I promise."

"Paul trust her she won't hurt us, no matter how you feel about any of them." He nodded before smiling at Alice and getting in the limo behind me. I watched as Alice spoke to the driver for another minute or so and I leaned into Paul as he put his arm around me.

"Congratulations beautiful."

"Thank you."

"Are you ok?"

"Yes."

"You sure you took a couple of good hits, and that jackass fucked up your shoulder."

"Paul I'm good, I'm still a wolf and it's already healing, by the time we get to the restaurant the bruise will be gone, my shoulder is still slightly stiff but I'm good. I just won a half a million bucks and had my family and friends see me fight for the first time. Now I'm going on a date with a wonderfully handsome hot head so trust me my night is great."

In about 10 minutes we were pulling up to a very nice looking restaurant. I shook my head smirking, very typical Alice. Only the best of the best, this place looked like one of the most expensive restaurants in the damn city. The driver let us out and I grabbed my purse before taking Paul's hand as he helped me out. The wind whipped at our bodies and I was thankful for having the wolf gene at that moment; otherwise, I'd be freezing, especially in just a shirt and vest. We walked in and the host quickly greeted us.

"Hello, welcome to the Metropolitan Grill; Reservation name?" Paul and I looked at each other, we didn't know what name it was under. As I was about to speak the phone rang, the host excused themself as they answered the phone. "Ah, yes Mrs. Hale, yes ma'am they just walked in, I will seat them now thank you." He hung up before looking back at us. "Right this way please." I held Paul's hand as we walked through the restaurant holding hands. Thankfully we had both dressed appropriately, my heels with the darkness of my jeans looked dressy and Paul was dressy casual, his dark jeans and black long dress shirt fit him nicely. I felt we were slightly underdressed for such a place but oh well. Some people had given us odd looks on the way back or glared looking as if we were too young or too poor to be in such a place. I gritted my teeth breathing deeply as stereotyping and rudeness such as that was a huge pet peeve. As we were sat menus were placed in front of us. Within moments, the waiter was walking to our table and sat a bottle of wine on the table.

"My name is Christy I will be your waitress tonight, can I interest you in an appetizer?" Paul and I glanced at the short appetizer list before locking eyes, he had a weird look on his face so I could clearly tell none of it seemed appeasing to him.
