I said walking out of my room and down the stairs. The guys were already here. Emily looked awesome, I asked her if I could make her a zombie and she agreed, I had asked because well I wanted to use her scars as part of the costume, I knew what my brother had done and wanted to kick his ass but he still was living with it every day and it killed him. I was shocked by how into the idea Emily was when I brought it up. One of the jobs I had, while I was away, was a makeup artist and I had actually ended up learning a lot. Between latex fake blood and other tools, Emily looked dead and decaying and her scars looked bloodied and like her face was ripped open. When Sam had first seen it he freaked out but Emily calmed him down; after explaining it he went with it and liked it. Sam had eventually even wanted to get with it because he was amazed after he saw Em. I made him a zombie too making him have a slit throat and a bullet hole in his head. It looked realistic as hell and was quite graphic. Jared and his imprint Kim were Bonnie and Clyde, and Quil and Jake decided to go with the flow and be ninja turtle along with Paul and I. Quil was Mikey and Jake was Donnie. I helped Emily finish setting up while the guys loaded the truck with all kinds of goodies. I no longer needed a coat since I ran a nice 108 now so I walked out the door as Emily shut it. She, Sam Jared, and Kim got in the truck while Quil and Jake were sitting in another car, an all-black 1969 Chevy Impala. It looked sick as hell, and Paul was leaning on it smiling.

"Like what you see?"

"Who's?"

"Mine."

"What."

"Yup, this baby is all mine." He said rubbing the hood before he grabbed my passenger door and opened it for me.

"Thank you."

"Welcome birthday girl."

"He is whipped, what did you do to him."

"Quil shut up." I looked in the mirror smiling. I noticed Jake in the back looking quite sad he was still bummed because he no longer talks to Bella, he was newly shifted and it was a danger; Sam's order. We quickly arrived at the beach Paul letting the guys out.

"We'll be there in a few minutes."

"Sure." Jake said before stomping off with Quil. Paul turned the car off before pulling me closer to him.

"I wanted to give you this, without everyone else around." He said handing me a small box. I took it from his hands and opened it slowly. I pulled out a necklace that had a wolf on it.

"Really."

"Yes really, look I know we don't get along half the time but dammit Bri I think I fucking love you, you're crazy, beautiful, smart, funny, and can keep my ass in place better than anyone even though you piss me off the most. I never wanted to imprint but now when I look at you I am so fucking glad that I did." I grabbed Paul by his neck kissing him hard. I was just fucking around with him, I loved the necklace and it was an amazingly sweet gesture.

"Thank you." I said softly kissing him again, "It's very sweet of you."

"Yeah, yeah." He said getting out of the car. I sighed he was always like this hot one second and cold the next. I knew he never wanted an imprint, he felt it took out his options; that and he was a preverbal man whore who didn't want to be tied down. I opened his door slamming it rather hard causing him to stop and turn around. "Don't fuck with my car." He growled out.

"Don't be an asshole, I like your gift it's pretty stop this whole hot and cold bullshit because I don't have time for it Lahote. You may not have wanted an imprint because you'd rather stick your dick in anything walking but guess what you got a damn imprint so get your head out of your damn ass because you proceed to act like this on my fucking birthday I am kicking your ass." I said shoving him and walking off.

"Bitch." He mumbled before following me, normally I would have turned around yelled at him or smacked him but I didn't feel like it. It was my birthday and I was going to have fun, Sam had said we could go to the beach for a couple of hours until it got too cold then we could go back home. Someone had already started the music because it was blaring and I noticed someone had hooked up my iPod to it; Sam was probably about to get extremely mad at me. I could dance and I knew he was not about to like the way his younger sister dances. I saw the cooler by the grill that had a beer in it, I know Sam is 20 so yeah, but whatever. I quickly grabbed one smiling to myself when Ne-yo's she knows came on. I loved that song, the beat was great and you just wanted to always dance to it.  I found myself dancing in the sand; I ignored the looks poking in my back; clearly being watched.
