"When he apologizes to her I will. You're lucky I don't attack you or those fucking idiotic kids!" I phased back and walked up to Colin who had been the one to call her a freak. I roughly shoved him into the porch smirking as I saw him wince in pain. "You ever make the mistake of disrespecting my imprint again I will rip out your fucking throat kid."

"PAUL!" I turned to Sam seething in anger.

"You, you shut up! You make her feel the same, she knows what you're thinking! You're making your baby sister feel like she's the bad guy! SHE WAS A FUCKING VICTIM SAM! If anyone is to blame for what happened to her it is us! We didn't protect her! We failed her! How would you feel if it was Emily! Would you be treating her differently!" I turned to punch one of the beams on the porch ignoring the crack I heard. I turned around roughly when I felt an arm on me. I relaxed seeing Leah.

"She asked me to come to check on you."

"Where?"

"Forks, she went to the Cullen's. Sam you don't have to worry about her anymore."

"What are you talking about?" He questioned walking closer to Leah.

"Bri said she wants out, she sees now the real feelings of her pack and she said she won't come between them. Quil I don't know what you or anyone else said to her but you fucking broke that girl. She has gone through enough fucking shit! She doesn't need it from you guys too. Sam she doesn't want to be in the pack anymore and be a burden, she wants to join Jake."

"NO!" I said glancing around.

"Paul, she said it's ok if Sam lets her your guys' house straddles the treaty line, she wants to still live there if its ok, shell just be part of our group."

"No!" Quill and I both said at the same time.

"It is not your choice it is hers! And Quill Jake said if you can't accept it than you might as well ask to join Sam again."

"Bullshit."

"Actually I did if you are going to punish her for something she had no choice in then I don't need you or want you in my pack. Bri did nothing wrong, she was abducted and fucking tortured, all she wanted was to come back to us, now that she has you all treat her different. Like it's her fault for this happening and it's not. I'm disgusted by all of you who are making her feel like this. You have no fucking clue what you are doing to her."

"I don't really care I don't want her." Quil never finished his sentence as I punched him and heard his jaw break.

"You are not my best friend; my best friend would never say that. You realize she wants to fucking die right. All she has is us and she wants to fucking die because she feels all alone. Jasper is trying to calm her while she is sobbing uncontrollably at their house. It isn't working and is driving him crazy. She needs us and you are all turning on her. Your protectors of our people, you failed on her so now you blame her. You should be ashamed this is not how we conduct ourselves. We DO NOT turn on our family." Jake said as he roughly grabbed Quil.

"Jake man."

"SHUT UP! You're a fucking asshole Quil!" Jake said as he used his alpha tone and shoved Quil to the ground. "Paul she needs you, man." He said turning to me.

"Lead the way." I said walking off. I quickly followed him back to the Cullen's, trying to not let the smell get to me, I will never get used to that damn stench. As soon as we got close to the door I could hear the quiet sobbing of my fiancée and it broke my heart hearing her. I walked in following Jake until I came to a bedroom. Bri was on it as Alice and Esme sat next to her trying to console her. Jasper sat on the floor his head in his hands. They hadn't noticed us yet, or better registered our appearance. I know they knew we had arrived.

"Brianna it's going to be ok, I promise."

"They hate me." She sobbed quietly as Esme rubbed her head.

"Sweetheart they don't hate you, they are just frightened right now."

"You don't hear them, hear what I hear, see what I saw, the looks on their faces, they hate me. Paul is getting stuck in the middle because of me, it isn't right, I, he didn't do anything wrong."

"Neither did you." I said walking in and kneeling in front of her. She looked up at me with swollen puffy red eyes and it broke my heart. I grabbed her hugging her tightly as I felt her tears wet my shoulder.

"I'm sorry." I heard her mumbled into my chest. I gently pushed her back as I wiped her tears.

"Baby you have nothing to be sorry for, I don't want to hear you apologize again. If anyone is sorry it should be us for not keeping you safe. I know this seems hard right now and there isn't a light in the darkness but I promise somehow and someway we will get through this, together. Just like always, ok."

I smiled as she nodded her head. I pulled her to me hugging her tightly as I swallowed as my throat tightened. She did not need me to be emotional right now. She needed me to be strong, to carry both of us right now.
