What Happened

PAUL POV

I watched Brianna walk away from me looking at Leah.

"What she talking about."

"Like you deserve to know." I was about to respond when a howl ripped through the air. I looked at Jake as anger radiated from my body.

"You mother fucker, you tricked us." I said running off and phasing. The Cullen's had gone hunting, I saw the newbies surround the mother one and I jumped to attack when a boulder hit me, Emmett. I growled as they all took off I went to follow when I stumbled and fell, my vision blurring; my chest getting tighter. Something was wrong. I threw it out of my mind and focused, we had lost them but were heading back to their house. We were wiping them out, as we made it to their house I looked at Sam.

"They aren't back yet, we still have numbers."

"Let's do it." I responded running forward. I was shoved back right as I was about to rip little Alice apart. I was about to attack when Jake shoved Sam back.

"ENOUGH YOU CAN'T HURT HER WITHOUT HURTING ME."

"Jake." We all saw Jake's thoughts as he showed us him imprinted on the newborn. There was officially nothing we could do; hurting her broke our biggest fucking law. I growled looking around, there was one person missing.

"Where's Brianna?" Jake turned his head scanning around before looking at Leah, who looked around before shifting.

"BRIANNA." Alice then fell on the ground before Edward was next to her.

"You're kidding right?" she nodded her head no as tears fell from her eyes.

"Alice, what is it?" The blond one said holding her. I saw Edward say something before turning to us.

"Sam, Jacob you all need to shift now, we need to talk." Sam responded with a growl as Jake shifted and Edward talked to him in a hushed tone. Jacob's face told me everything, something was wrong with my fiancée. I immediately shifted grabbing shorts and walking up to them.

"What the fuck is wrong with my fiancée? Where is she?"

"FIANCEE?" I groaned, fuck. Sam

"Sam." I was on the ground before I finished my sentence.

"YOU'RE ENGAGED TO MY SISTER"

"Sam calm the hell down man, whatever issue you have with Paul and Bri's relationship doesn't fucking matter anymore."

"To hell it doesn't."

"SAM." We all shut up looking at Alice who was still crying. "Brayden took her."

"What?" I asked walking closer to her; I know I didn't hear her right.

"He, He." Alice started crying again as she ran into the house.

"What she fucking talking about Cullen."

"Paul Alice had a vision just now. Brayden Daniels abducted Brianna while we were all distracted, she's gone." I felt my chest tighten in panic, where, where did she go, why wasn't she safe. I felt the world collapse and fall onto me as everything started to move in slow-mo. I followed everyone inside as we sat down.

"Paul! You need to focus, please." Alice cried.

"We are not telling him."

"Leah we have to."

"He doesn't deserve it."

"That doesn't matter anymore stupid mutt he deserves to know now. It's beyond someone's want now it's her life." I saw Leah shut up as she sat down taking a few deep breaths.

"How the fuck was she taken, do none of you know how to keep an eye out. You knew he was stalking her.!"

"Paul it happened while we were all distracted."

"Whatever."

"Look mutt while you were busy finding a way to kill my niece and family Jake fooled you in that meeting so Carlisle could go feed for when Bella gave birth. Your egotistical ass couldn't just let it go and she would have come to you and been safe. Instead, you hurt her more and she leaves and wasn't paying attention and got. AHH" Muscles girlfriend roared as she left the room.

"Paul, you can't shift, Sam order him to stay in control."

"Why Leah what's so wrong, what are all of you hiding."

"I'm not saying shit until you and Sam go outside." I got up going outside starting to shake in anger, they were hiding something and I fucking knew it.

"There Clearwater I'm outside."

"Paul, I fuck. I shouldn't be telling you this shit."

"Leah."

"She was pregnant ok"

"Was?"

"I, the night we left after we all found out about Bella. Paul, she came to my house after you guys had that fight, she followed me while I was going after Seth when she got my attention and we were walking she said she couldn't stand and fight something she didn't believe in. She then fell to the ground in pain and when I asked what was wrong when I got close I saw all the blood. She blacked out and my screaming alerted Seth and Jacob to where we were and they took her to the house. It was too late Paul, she had lost it already, and she was." Leah broke down crying as Seth held her, I had never seen Leah like this and the only person who could was Sam. I was fucking numb, I was going to be a dad, my fiancée was, and she had, by herself. I feel to the ground as I let go, I couldn't phase I didn't have the energy I just cried. I cried for my imprint and I fighting, her being taken away from me, the life we created never even getting an opportunity, this was my fault.

"That's why she left."

"Yes Paul, she didn't know she was even pregnant until Carlisle told her she had lost it, she has barely eaten or slept in a week. That's why she wanted to go to that meeting. Then you said it should be destroyed, she felt like. Paul to her all you guys wanted to do was slaughter an innocent defenseless child, after she learned she had been expecting she felt like a child was being attacked for being different just like hers."
