Being with Draco was something Y/n never imagined. He made her feel safe and complete. He always seemed to bring a smile to her face, even when she was at her lowest. Y/n loved Draco so much, she even believed they were soulmates. She always imagined they'd end up getting married and have kids. She imagined growing old with Draco. But things change and sometimes those things people hope for in their future, will only stay as wishes.

When Draco and Y/n broke up, it took her by surprise. It took everyone by surprise. All her friends thought they were endgame.

When they ended things, Y/n believed they would end on good terms. She believed they could even stay friends and maybe with time, get back together.

But she was so wrong. When she was walking back from her class, she saw Draco talking to her. He looked so happy with her. They even began to hang out more.

"And you're probably with that brunette girl.
Who always made me doubt... She's everything I'm insecure about."

Astoria Greengrass, the girl he told Y/n not to worry about. The girl who was "just a friend". Y/n always had her doubts about her, but Draco would always reassure her nothing was wrong. She felt stupid believing him.

Of course he chose her, look at her. She was tall, gorgeous, has porcelain skin. She was everything Y/n wasn't, no wonder Draco chose her. This made Y/n so insecure, she couldn't stop comparing herself.

She could see the way Draco looked at her. It was the same way Draco use to look at Y/n. It was like whatever Draco and Y/n had meant nothing to him. How could someone move on so quickly?

"And all my friends are tired of hearing how much I miss you, but I kinda feel sorry for them. Cause they'll never know you the way that I do."

Y/n would always vent to her friends. Almost every conversation she had with them was about Draco. She knew they were getting tired of constantly hearing her sob over him. But they never knew the real Draco. They would never know the real him, the way he was with Y/n.

When Draco was with Y/n, he had another side of him that no one else saw. He was kind to her, he was sensitive, and soft. When they were alone, Draco would always steal kisses from her or even kiss her nose or forehead so many times, Y/n would playfully complain.

No one will ever understand why Y/n was in so much pain. Because to them, he was just an asshole. But to Y/n, he was her everything.

"I know we weren't perfect but I've never felt this way for no one. And I just can't imagine how you could be so okay now that I'm gone."

Of course Draco and Y/n had their problems, what couple didn't? But even when they would fight, Y/n still loved him. Draco made Y/n feel emotions she had never felt before. Draco made her feel so loved and protected.

Draco was so vulnerable with Y/n. They both shared their deepest secrets with each other. At one point they even cried together. It was so hard for Y/n to see Draco with someone else. She knew Draco loved her dearly, how can he be fine with moving on? Were all those years together nothing?

All those letters, presents, kisses, all-nighters; did those mean nothing to Draco? How could he possible be okay without Y/n? She was his everything or at least that's what he told her.

"Cause I still fucking love you, babe."

Every time Y/n would see Draco and Astoria together, it was like a knife to her heart. She would see them laughing together or holding hands – it pained her so much. Because even when he was with someone else, Y/n couldn't help, but still love him.

She couldn't help, but remember everything from their relationship. She would remember all of their memories together and it killed her. Cause now he was making new memories with her.
