I opened my eyes, feeling a sharp pain on my hand and I sat on the bed.

Emily beside me was feeling it too. Her eyes were scanning her mark with terror, since it was the first time the Dark Lord was calling her.

With a tiny voice, she asked, "Where should we go?".

"Downstairs", I sighed and jumped out of the bed.

"D-downstairs? The Dark Lord was in your house while we were sleeping? What if he is angry because we didn't show up and-"

"Shh, Em. It was okay to not go, you needed some rest and he said it was okay" I comforted her pressing my hands on her shoulders.

"O-okay. I have to change my clothes -" she said confused wandering around the room with no reason.

"Emily Black, look at me" I said strict but she wasn't paying attention.

"No, I have to wear my clothes -" she said shaking and I put her head between my palms to look at me.

"Take a deep breath, relax" I said calm and she was trying to control her breaths.

"I am scared, Draco" she said and I exhaled.

"I know but don't worry. You are going to be okay. You are very brave and sure braver than me" I smirked at the end, making her more comfortable.

"Okay, yeah. Let's go" she said and we opened the door.

It was probably around 3 am and the whole house was quiet. I took Emily's hand and I brought us to the room where she got her Death Mark four hours ago.

"Ready?" I asked whispering and she nodded, holding my hand tighter.

I took a deep breath before opening the door.

The large table was full of Death Eaters and of course at the top of it, the Dark Lord.

"Draco and Emily, how lovely it's to see you again" he said smiling and we got inside moving closer.

"Emily, dear are you okay?" he asked her and I felt my blood frozing. She was silent and I pushed her hand without anyone noticing so she would talk.

"Y-yes, I am okay" she said trembling and I exhaled relieved.

"Please take a seat, both of you" he said and we did as he told us.

I feel this lump in my throat and the great need to throw up again after seeing him twice in the same day. On the table my eyes were wandering around checking the people and my heart stopped when I saw professor Snape, sitting with us.

He is the person that Dumbledore trusts the most, how could he do that?

And then, it hit me. When I had detention and he called Flinch it was because the Dark Lord wanted him. That's why he was looking at his arm that way, that night.

He looked at me and he made an angry face before turning back to the Dark Lord. With a nod of his head he warned me that I should propably pay attention at Voldermort than him.

Draco put his hand on my knee and slowly rubbing it with his fingers, because he could see how tensed I was.

"Yes, we have started mending the Vanishing Cabinet. It needs a lot of work though" Draco said next to me and I woke up, trying to get into the conversation.

"Is that correct, Emily?" Dark Lord asked me looking me straight into the eyes with his giant snake by his side.

I took a deep breath, "Yes, correct", I tried to say with confidence.

"How much long will it take until you finish?" he asked looking both of us.

"Three to four months?" Draco said questioning himself and the Dark Lord nodded slowly.

"Okay, Draco. Emily you know what you have to do, right?" he turned at me.

"Yes, help Draco" I answered simple and he smiled a little with his ugly teeth showing.

"For now, yes" he answered and I felt my hands shaking.

For now? What the hell does that mean?

"You can go, don't want to miss your train tomorrow" he said and Draco took my hand getting us out from that suffocating room.

"We are going to sleep again, right?" he asked and I stayed quite for a little.

"What did his word meant? He said for now" I said and he exhaled.

"He was just trying to mess with you Emily. Don't think about it. Probably it's just nothing" he said and I laid on the mattress.

But I knew it meant something, and Draco did too. But I am afraid to know and understand.

Although I did.

"Are you okay?" Draco asked me and he sat on the edge of the bed away from me.

"Yes, I am fine" I said and he was looking at me crossing his arms.

"Tell me what's going on" he said and I closed my eyes taking a big breath.

"Nothing" I said rolling my eyes and taking my shoes off.

"I can see that something is off you can just tell me-"

"I said it's nothing, Draco!" I broke out angry and he was looking at me unexpressed.

"I will just let you get some rest" he mumbled taking a pillow to lay on the floor.

He closed the light and I got under the blankets turning to the other side staring at the window.

I felt bad, very bad for talking to him like that. But he is still here, he doesn't leave.

"Draco" I whispered after a long time hoping that he wasn't sleeping.

"Yes?" he answered and I heard him moving his body.

"I am sorry" I said trying to hold my tears back.

"I just can't control it, I am tired and I feel tensed the whole time. I don't want to break out on you" I continued with my voice shaking and my cheeks were wet from my tears.

I felt the bed moving beside me, and I turned around to see him.

"It's okay, Emily. I understand" he said and I grinned weak.

"Thank you" I whispered and he leaned kissing me on the lips.

"Stay" I whispered on his lips.

"Okay", he laid next to me and pulled me closer, "Goodnight Em".

"Goodnight" I said feeling my eyelids heavy.
