In a few minutes we will arrive in the train station and I couldn't stop thinking what the old lady shared with me. How did she know all of these? And how did she dissappeared without me noticing or hearing?

She was right though, lately I have some doubts about my Hogwarts house. Most of my family is in Gryffindor and everyone knew I was going to end up there but I couldn't see it happening. Even now, I believe that I get along well with Gryffindors because they are the opposite of me and not because I am one of them. The sorting hat is never wrong though, so this is something I will maybe talk about with professor Dumbledore.

"This is our last station, you get down?" the driver woke me up from my thoughts and brought me to reality.

I took my trunks fast and after I apologised I got down of the bus and headed for the gate. It was 9.15 in the morning and the gate if I am not wrong opens at 9.30 until 11.00. So to win some time, I went and put my stuff on a trolley.

Making sure that no one was watching I ran fast and passed the gate reaching the other side. It was very early so no one of the students had arrived yet but the train was opened if anyone wanted to come sooner. I got inside the empty train and I arranged my things in a small compartment locking the door and shutting down the curtains so no one will interrupt me. I layed down on the seats using them as a bed and closed my eyes tired for a little nap.

I got my senses back and I was able to hear and feel around me.

I opened my eyes and rubbed them tired. I stood up and I was stretching my body when someone wanted to open the door but couldn't because it was locked.

"Emily? Are you here?" I heard Hermione's voice from the other side.

"Shit" I whispered and thinking what to do.

"I know that you are inside, please open. I just want to know that you are safe" she said worried and I inhaled, walking to the door and opening it a little. She entered the room closing the door quickly behind her.

"Thank God you are okay" she said relieved and placed her hands around me. I was standing there awkward but after a few moments I pat her back softly.

"Neville was looking for you, but I told him that you weren't feeling well" she said and sat down dragging me with her.

I felt really awkward talking to her so I just sighed, "Okay".

"Emily..." she turned to me worried.

"We still want to be friends with you. We also want to help you" she grabbed my shoulder and shook her head.

I mean, it was hard. I need some time to find myself, find who I am. I want to stay alone these days but I knew that she wouldn't understand. She will think that I am doing this because I am sad and stuff like that.

So, I just said, "Okay" but it didn't really matter because it made her smile satisfied.

"Also..." she said and went outside grabbing something.

"You forgot something", I opened my eyes as she brought me my howl in her cage. I was in a rush and I forgot my pet! If it wasn't Hermione probably I would have been kicked from Hogwarts.

After I gave her a little smile I replied, "Thank you".

The first week has passed by quickly. We started our lessons normally and the teachers even gave us homework to do. Snape charged us with a 600 words essay and we should head it by the end of the other week.

"Hermione? Are you sleeping?" I whispered loud enough so she could here me. She rolled to the other side facing the wall, breathing heavily.

Stepping on my toes I got out of my bed and opened the room door quietly. The common room was empty and I walked fast to the exit before I would get caught. I was at the lanes now, heading to the astronomy tower when I heard a noise.

My whole body froze and I could feel my heart beating from my throat. It wasn't a human, it sounded like an animal walking and roaring through the castle. Suddenly, I felt a cold hand covering my mouth and another pushing my arm behind. I tried to scream for help, but the other person pulled me close pressing my mouth harder until I bit their hand.

"Ouch! What the-" the other person said but his sentenced cut off by another roar.

"You!" we said pointing each other.

"What do you want Malfoy? Get your hands off me!" I threw them away and he took a step back disgusted.

"You should let me there. Who the hell gave you the right to touch me? You are -" I snapped but he cut me off once again.

"Shh shut up" he said curtly looking at the halls, "Or you will get us both killed", I looked outside to see what's going on.

My breath went away as I saw a big shadow on the wall, representing a big animal that was looking like a big wolf.

My body became one with the wall as I was pressuring it hard, like I wanted to get through the bricks. The animal's steps were louder than before and it was standing right in front of us but thankfully the dark night didn't showed our bodies and we were literally on each other holding our breaths. After a few moments, the animal started walking away and when he got really far away I took a step back from Malfoy.

"You are coming with me" he hissed grabbing my elbow and dragging me with him.

"Hey! Leave me!" I hit his shoulder and he wrapped his fingers around my wrist hard.

"You are going to Snape. I am a prefect, you know" he showed me the pin on his robe with the Slytherin house logo on it. I rolled my eyes and pushed him back.

"You are not reporting me" I crossed my hands.

"Oh yeah?" he asked arrogantly, "Why do you think I won't?"

"Because not even perfects are allowed this time outside of their common room. It's almost 3 am, you will get in trouble too" I explained smiling with pleasure and he bit his lip angry realizing what my words meant.

"You are such a bitch, you know that?" he spat his words on my face and I smirked.

"Yeah. I actually do know that" I passed him hitting his shoulder.

"I hope that thing kills you", I heard him saying as I was walking to the Astronomy Tower, where I was going from the beginning.

"Screw you" I said without turning around to see his face.
