Fifty Seven

I saw Dumbledore going there, with Snape appearing next to him. I went downstairs furious, walking towards him.

"You were supposed to catch her!" I yelled hitting his chest.

"You were going to save her!!" I screamed hitting him once more breaking. He pulled my head on his chest, I was trying to get away but he didn't let me.

"Shhh" he said and I started crying, giving up.

"She is gone" I whispered more to myself, to convince me that this is not just a nightmare.

"Where is she?" I asked pulling back and searched around.

"Don't worry, we took care of her. Students will be informed right now" Dumbledore said and I nodded akward, looking away.

"This, was fallen with her" Dumbledore said giving me a piece of paper. I took it in my hands and scanned it under one minute. My name was mentioned, and this fucking piece of paper was the reason that Emily killed herself.

"I need to leave" I said pushing them away and heading to my dorm room.

I got inside, I couldn't breath and everyone was sleeping. I opened the light and Zabini woke up looking at me confused.

"Leave, now" I said abruptly and they all left taking their pillows with them. When the door closed I screamed, taking all the things on every desk throwing them down on the floor and started punching the walls until my hands would bleed.

"I fucking hate you!!" I screamed to my reflection on the mirror and threw a fist on it breaking the glass into a million pieces.

"Draco, open the door" I heard Mary's voice from outside and I growled angry breaking a wooden chair.

"Leave, Mary" I said and she started knocking the door unstoppable.

"Please, let me in. What happened? Where is Emily?!" she yelled and hearing her name made me start crying again.

"Draco, where is she???!!!" she screamed and I couldn't answer. I unlocked the door and she stepped inside swallowing hard, scanning the destroyed room around me.

"Draco... what happened?" she asked crying and I closed my eyes, trying to get out of my head her dead body.

"She jumped from the astronomy tower. She is gone" I said in a  hoarse voice, and she gasped shocked covering her mouth.

"No, it's a joke. This is just a prank!" she said laughing and I shook my head trying to reach her.

"No, Mary this is reality. She couldn't handle it" I explained and she shook her head, not believing me.

"No no, she is somewhere hiding!"she said crying wandering around and I took her by her back of the neck pulling her on my chest.

"I couldn't save her, I am sorry" I whispered crying and she burst into tears.

"No, no! Its can't be!" she screamed placing her arms around my waist.

"This morning, something terrible happened to our school" Dumbledore was talking standing on the step. All the students were gathered in the Great Hall sitting on chairs.

"Emily Black from Gryffindor, took her own life a few hours ago" he said and I covered my mouth looking down.

I heard whispers around me and I glanced at Potter and his friends, they were shocked.

"We will honor her memory by placing a portrait of her in the Gryffindor corridor. May she rest in peace" he said and I stood up, rushing outside. I went to the bathroom, feeling dizzy and lost.
