I was breathless and tired when I got inside of the hospital wing, standing next to Draco's unconscious body.

His face was pale making his little scratch on his cheek more intense. His body had band aids on, one on each hole that those stupid spell created him. I wanted to threw up each time that picture was in my head.

"Hey! You shouldn't be here!" I heard madam Pomfrey's strict voice. I wiped my tear that was falling on my cheek quickly and turned to look at her.

"Please, let me stay. I promise I won't do anything, I will just be sitting here" I said and she raised her eyebrow.

"Very good. The one sound I hear, I will kick you out of here" she said half joking and I nodded.

"Thank you. Is he going to be okay?" I asked and she sighed.

"He lost some blood and he is in very big pain. I think yes, but it will need some time for him to recover" she said and I nodded. That relieved me somehow, I can't imagine that before one hour I was screaming because I thought he was dead.

"Thank you, madam Pomfrey" I smiled kind and she nodded.

"I will come later to check on him" she said and closed the curtains around us, so it was only me and him right now.

I sat on the chair next to him, and took his cold hand into mine.

"I am so sorry", I choked out trying not to cry again.

"This is my fault, I shouldn't had left you, I should let you explain or understand", I couldn't hold my tears back for the twentieth time today.

"I can't believe that I almost lost you. I love you, so much Draco. So much that it hurts" I said and noticed some of his blonde hair falling on his forehead.

With my other free hand I moved away his hair and rubbed slowly his forehead until his chin with my thumb. He didn't move at all and I squeezed his hand a little kissing it, "I love you".

I was blinded by a big white light, causing me trying to open my eyes even though I didn't want to. I felt something heavy on my left hand and I blinked a multiple times to realize that Emily's head was on it, sleeping quietly.

She was deep breathing, with her eyelashes moving once a while.

I rested my head back, closing my eyes but the pain on my chest couldn't let me do it. I was covered with my blanket, and the memories were blurry, I don't exactly remember what happened.

"Emily" I whispered to her, but she didn't hear me.

"Hey! " I said and she suddenly opened her eyes and looked at me scared. When she saw me smiling at her, she relaxed and took a deep breath.

"Draco, are you okay?" she asked worrying.

"Who are you?" I asked trying to look confused and she gasped surprised, wide opening her eyes.

"Nah, I am just messing with you" I said smiling and she snorted rolling her eyes.

"I am okay, but this shit hurts" I said the truth and she nodded.

"What happened? I don't remeber much" I admitted and she moaned tired.

"Well, you were fighting with Potter in the bathroom" she said at first and I frowned, "Why?".

"He - uhm he found out that you cursed Katie Bell" she said and I felt my stomach dropping. She looked away, trying to hold her tears back.

"Em, listen I-"

"No Draco, don't call me Em. I should be so mad at you right now, I should be hating you" she hissed angry and I nodded.

I messed up things, again.

"Then why aren't you?" I asked bravely and her angry look made  me shut up.

"Because, I thought you died. I almost lost you and that's the worst thing I have ever been through in my life" she explained and I felt something weird on my chest.

I closed my eyes for a little, and the memories came back, all of them.

"Sectusempra" I gasped and she looked at me confused.

"That's what he said, Sectusempra. And then my body was full of holes and I was bleeding from everywhere" I realized shocked and removed the blanket from me, observing how my chest looked.

"This asshole, look what his done to me!" I complained showing every band aid on me.

"Don't worry, I handled him" she said putting the blanket back and I looked at her confused.

"Em, what did you do?" I asked scared and she showed me her hands. They were full of blood, and it was clearly not hers.

"You really kicked his ass, huh?" I asked and she snorted.

"It wasn't right. If we were alone, I was going to kill him" she said and I shook my head.

"No you wouldn't" I comforted her and she sighed.

"You didn't see me there. I insure you that I would" she said broken and I tried to reach her moving but I felt a sharp pain.

"Hey, stop moving" she said touching my shoulder pulling me down.

"It's fine" I moaned and closed my eyes trying to get the pain away.

"If Snape hadn't come right in time, you would be gone now" she said and I frowned.

"Snape? How did he save me?" I asked curious.

"He reversed the spell or something like that. It doesn't matter though because you are safe. But when you get out of here, I am going to kill you" she said and I snorted, although I knew that it was true.

"Why did you do it, Draco? Why did you cursed her, and how?" she asked what is been going on her mind for the last couple of hours.

"And please, no more lies" she begged and I nodded.

I just had to tell her the truth, I had no other choice.

"Check if anyone is here" I whispered and she nodded, doing as I said.

"All alone" she insured me and sat down again.

"Okay," I took a deep breath, "The Dark Lord told me to do something more. Worst than the first one" I confessed and she wide opened her eyes scared.

"Wh-what is it? The task?" she asked trembling and I looked away. I couldn't say it and looking at her.

"I have to kill Dumbledore" I whispered and she put her hand on her mouth shocked.

"What?" she asked not believing it.

"I want you to stay out of it, Emily. And I mean it. I won't tell you anything more about it" I emphasized my words.

"No, I want to help" she insisted and I shook my head.

"End of story" I raised my eyebrows and she exhaled.

She was quiet for a while, lost in her thoughts, staring at the trees outside of the window.

"Hey," I said catching her attention, "Everything is going to be okay", I grinned weak and she pressed her lips into a line nodding.
