arabella was in the woods hunting for food with bellamy, atom, jones, and two other people arabella didn't know the names of. they had come across a wild boar.

bellamy shushed the group. "she's mine." he said.

he was about to throw his axe to kill the animal but a stick snapped behind them, so instead of going for the boar bellamy spun around throwing the axe at a tree, arabella raised her spear which had been given to her as a weapon, but put it down when she saw a young girl staring at the axe that was close to killing her.

"get him." someone shouted, speaking about the boar, three of the people from the group ran after the animal, while arabella, bellamy, and atom stayed behind.

"who the hell are you?" bellamy asked the young girl.

"charlotte." she answered.

"i almost killed you." bellamy told the girl, retrieving his axe. "and why aren't you back at camp?"

"well, with that guy who was dying, i just- i couldn't listen anymore." she explained.

"there's grounders out here." Arabella told the girl softly. "if he didn't kill you." she pointed to bellamy. "the grounders sure as hell would've."

"yeah, it's too dangerous out here for a little girl." atom agreed.

"i'm not little." charlotte told atom confidently.

arabella raised her eyebrow at the girl.

"ok, then... but you can't hunt without a weapon." bellamy smiled pulling out a small knife from his pocket.

"bellamy please don't give the child a knife." arabella sighed.

bellamy ignored arabella and handed the knife to charlotte.

"or give the child the knife, yeah good idea." she muttered under her breath.

"ever killed something before?" bellamy asked.

charlotte just shook her head at the man.

"who knows? maybe you're good at it." he smiled.

arabella mentally facepalmed at the fact that bellamy had just given a knife to a literal twelve-year-old, she sighed and followed after bellamy.

soon after they found charlotte, arabella, bellamy, atom, and the young girl were now running from a yellow fog.

"come on! there are caves this way," bellamy shouted.

arabella was running next to bellamy, charlotte reached for bellamy's arm. the three had run into a cave, but arabella realized atom wasn't with them so she tried to run back out of the cave to find him but before she could bellamy wrapped his arms around her waist pulling her back.

"bellamy! arabella!" atom shouted.

"bellamy we can't leave him!" arabella shouted at the man.

"if you go out there you'll be dead." bellamy told her softly.

arabella let out a shaky breath. "fine." she mumbled sadly as she slid down the cave wall, pulling her knees to her chest and closing her eyes.
