the three hadn't been walking for long but arabella was already bored and aching, her leg from the first day still causing her a small amount of pain every once in a while.

"you know, the first dropship is gonna come down soon." clarke spoke, moving branches out of the way.

bellamy held back a branch so arabella could get passed, she sent him a grateful smile, a small blush on her cheeks.

"pretty sure you can't avoid jaha forever." she said to bellamy then looked at arabella. "and you can't hide from your father."

"i can try." bellamy muttered.

"if anyone mentions my dad again i'm gonna lose my shit." arabella grumbled.

the three stepped up onto a hill and overlooked a swamp-type area with crumbling buildings everywhere.

"the depot is supposed to be around here somewhere." clarke told the two.

"okay, we'll split up." arabella quickly spoke. "bye!" she shouted as she stumbled awkwardly down the hill.

...

arabella wandered around looking for some sort of escape route without bellamy or clarke seeing her.

"arabella! bellamy!" clarke shouted.

arabella huffed. "so damn clingy." she muttered to herself, quickly walking over to the two.

"i found a door." clarke said, she tried opening the door but it wouldn't budge.

"probably rusted shut." arabella lent over, shrugging.

"how about you try to help instead of standing there looking all pretty?" bellamy asked.

arabella's eyes looked down at his axe, she grabbed it and hit the door multiple times until she heard a crack. "there you go, pretty boy, i just did all the work for you." she sweetly smiled, handing him his axe back.

bellamy and clarke opened up one of the doors to the depot, bellamy going first, then arabella and clarke.

"this is gross, like actually gross. i do not deserve this." arabella waved her hands around to get rid of the cobwebs that were attacking her face.

clarke passed arabella a flashlight. "no this place is so gross." she gagged.

"do you think this place really hasn't been touched since the war?" bellamy asked, his hand on arabella's back.

"a girl can dream." clarke replied, following some more stairs that went lower into the ground.

"if there's nothing down here i'm gonna be pissed, like the type where i may have another attempted murder on my hands." arabella held onto bellamy's arm.

"so you can attack two grown men to the point they almost die, but you can't handle the dark?" clarke asked.

"i'm scared there's gonna be some sort of mutant spider or something down here." she replied.

clarke and bellamy shook their heads, as they went further down the stairs there was a human skeleton on the stairs, cobwebs, and dust covering its body.

"poor guy." arabella said awkwardly.

"hell of a place to die." bellamy added.

they reached the bottom of the stairs, and arabella grimaced at how the place looked.

"so much for living down here. this place is disgusting." clarke grimaced.

bellamy took another glance at arabella. "careful sweetheart, there might be mutant spiders down here." he whispered to her, sending her a playful wink.

"ha ha, bell. real funny." she rolled her eyes, trying to stop her smile.

"damn it." clarke looked around.

"honestly, anything left down here is ruined." arabella picked cobwebs off of her jacket, slightly freaking out.

a stream of water trickled down from the ceiling, splashing arabella's shoes.

"they must have distributed most of the supplies before he last bombs went off." clarke resorted.

bellamy placed his pack into a container and pulled out a glowstick, cracking it in annoyance to get it to light up.

"hey!" clarke shouted. "i found blankets."

arabella let out a deep sigh. "that's it? blankets?"

clarke shut the lid in annoyance. "well, it's something."

"how about a canteen or a med kit or a decent fucking tent!?" bellamy yelled, walking around trying to find something other than blankets.

he hit his hand on a metal barrel, he opened the lid, and dipped his fingertips into the liquid. it was grease. he pulled his hand out shaking it in anger.

"who keeps a barrel of grease?" arabella clenched her jaw. "these people were idiots."

bellamy was silent for a moment, he let out a loud grunt and kicked the barrel over, the grease quickly spilling out of it.

"bellamy!" arabella yelled.

the three heard a metallic thud as if something else was in the barrel.

arabella walked over and knelt down to see a load of guns. "holy shit." she grinned at bellamy.

"oh, my god." he whispered.

"what?" clarke asked, rushing over to the two.

arabella and bellamy both reached for a gun to show clarke. she looked shocked but bellamy and arabella had wide smiles on their faces.
