𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒓𝒕𝒚 𝒔𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏

arabella, bellamy, clarke, and raven were in front of the dropship, waiting for the grounders to return for them. 

arabella and bellamy's heads turned to the sound of rustling from a bush near clarke and raven. 

"someone's coming." raven whispered, tightly holding her rifle. "there." she pointed out towards the gate.

bellamy raised his gun, immediately looking around.  

"oh, my god." arabella muttered, seeing finn standing at the gate, his arms raised in surrender. 

"no." arabella heard clarke say as the boy turned around to look at the four. 

clarke got up on her feet and ran over. "finn!" she cried out. but, it was too late. the grounders had already grabbed him. the four stood and watched as the grounders took finn away.

after a while, the group made it back to camp jaha. arabella stood with clarke and raven. the grounders were yelling, but arabella couldn't tell if they were actually cheering for finally getting what they wanted. clarke and raven were distraught, but they couldn't exactly go marching over to an army of grounders. 

"what is that?" raven asked, referring to the tall object the grounders were putting into the ground. 

"it's for finn." clarke whispered. "they want us to watch."

"we're gonna get him." bellamy spoke up from beside kane, arabella in front of him. "we'll get in close and we'll hit them hard."

"we can't walk into an army of grounders, bellamy." arabella turned to him. "they'll kill us before we even get close to finn."

 "she's right." marcus said. "there are thousands of them." he paused for a moment. "even if we could kill hundreds, they'd still wipe out this camp and your friend would still die." the man finished, his hand on arabella's shoulder. "i am not losing you again." he said to the girl.

"we have to try." bellamy murmured. 

"abby." raven said loudly, turning to the woman next to arabella. "abby, we have to do something."

abby looked at raven for a few moments. "no, raven."

raven's head turned back to the grounder army, her eyes glassy. clarke leaned forward slightly, sending bellamy a look, which arabella noticed. 

the girl turned round to the man behind her. "i swear to god, bellamy if you try something, i will kill you before the grounders get to you." she said angrily in a hushed whisper. "i won't lose you."

the two watched as clarke walked away, he glanced back down at arabella and took her hand, following after clarke. 

"bellamy." arabella scolded. 

"just come on." he simply said.

the two caught up to clarke, raven at their side also. 

"take this." clarke said, handing her gun to bellamy.

"clarke, what are you doing?" arabella said in a panic.
