Sarahs POV
*before date w/ TJ*
I'm never, ever doing a blind date again! The guy Patch set me up with was so awkward, and didn't talk very much. So yeah, I'm not leting them do that to me again. Oh, yeah. My ward split on Sunday, so I'm in a different ward, but Dani and Cody are in the same ward.
"Ok, let's get started." Dani says walking into my room. "Have you picked out something to wear?"
"I have something in mind but if you want to pick something, go ahead." She pulls out some clothes, then starts on my make up.
"Stop shaking!"
"I can't, I'm so nervous!"
"Relax! You'll be fine."
*later*
*ding-dong*
"He's hear!" I say shaking even harder. "I don't know if I can do this."
"Dude, its just a date you'll be fine. I'm sure you'll be glad you did this, and I'll be right here when you get back." She's gonna spend the night, so I can tell her what happend ASAP.
"Ok, here goes nothing." I walk out of my room, and I see TJ talking to my dad. I want to turn around so badly, I feel like I might faint. Kylie's already out in the van with Patch. TJ looks speechless, he just stares at me. I don't know if I should say something, but then my dad snaps his fingers in TJs face.
"Sorry, you ready?" He smiles. I nod my head, then he opens the door for me. Once we're out I realized that I forgot a jacket. Oh well. "You look beautiful!" I look down at my feet, and I can feel my self blushing. He opens the car door, and Patch climbs out. Zac is in the driver seat with Kadlynn next to him. Kylie, and Patch are in the middle, so TJ and I have the back row all to our selves. I climb in and sit by a window, but I'm still shaking. "Are you ok?"
"Huh? Oh, yeah. I'm just nervous." I say looking down at my hands.
"Why?" He scoots to the middle seat.
"I really don't know."
"Come here." He pulls me into a hug, and I don't know why but I feel a lot better. He let's go but leaves an arm around me, and I lay my head on his sholder.
*at the park*
We pull up to the park and its dark outside. The guys go around to the back to get the food, and us girls go find a table. After we eat Zac, and Kadlynn leave to go for a walk, then Patch, and Kylie go to the swings.
"You wanna go for a walk?" I nod my head, and he grabs my hand. "So how have you liked tonight?"
"I've enjoyed it. Its been fun!"
"You haven't said much tonight."
"Yeah, after you kissed me its been hard to talk to you, I guess."
"I'm sorry for doing that."
"Its ok, but what you said wasn't true. The reason why I left your house wasn't 'cause I needed to think about the brake up. That's not what's been on my mind the past few days."
"What's wrong?"
"Can I ask you something first?"
"Sure."
"Why do you like me?"
"I don't really know. One thing I look for in a girl is someone who can be my best friend. I remember 5 years ago is when you, Kylie, Mal, and I told each other that we were best friends and how we promised to not let anyone get inbetween us, and stuff like that. The the morning before we did that, a girl had come up to me at school, and told me that I was worthless, and didn't have a place in this world. After we made that promise you told me that I was the best and coolest person you have ever met. That's when I started to like you. I didn't want people to know that I liked you, so I started hanging out with Kylie more. I'm sorry for kissin-" I grab him by his jacket and pull him towards me, and smak my lips right into his. He's seem shocked at first, but then he kisses me back, and rap his arms around my waist. I loose my grip on his jacket, and move one hand to his neck, and the other to his hair. I didn't know how cold I was till now that I'm in his arms. I finally pull back.
"Sorry, I had to." I say using the same words he used when we first kissed.
"I'm not." He says, and kisses me again. The sparks are even bigger than the first time. He pulls me closer, and I just feel safe, and happy. He pulls away, and we just hug. My head is laying on his sholder, and I close my eye to enjoy the moment more. "I'm glad you broke up with Cody." He wispers.
"I am, too." I say looking back at him. "The reason why I left your house is 'cause that's when I started having feelings for you, but I didn't know that that was what it was. I was confused, and wanted to find out if I liked you, or not. That's why I didn't reply to your texts, and tryed avoiding you, and I'm sorry. This date really helped, though. Thank you!"
"You're more than welcome!" He says then pecks my lips. "We should probably head back." I nod my head, and he lets go of me. I feel a cool breez, then shiver. "Here." He says puting his jacket around me. Its so worm. I grab his hand and we walk back in silence. We meet everyone back at the table we ate at, then leave. We're all sitting in the same spot we were sitting in on the way here. TJ grabs my hand, and I lay my head on his sholder. Before I know it, I'm back at my house. Patch walks Kylie to the door, and once Kylie is inside, and Patch is walking back to the van TJ and I get out. "Thanks for the ride, man." TJ says to Zac as he shuts the door. He grabs my hand and walks me to the door as Zac drives off.
"I don't want this night to end." I say once we get to the door.
"Me too." He says pulling me into a hug.
"To night was perfect!"
"You wanna do it again next weekend?" He puts his forhead on mine.
"Yes! The same thing?"
"If that's what you want."
"It is." I say, then kiss him good night. We hug one last time, then I go inside. I run to my room, and find Dani asleep on an air mattress. I get ready for bed, and try to think of a way to wake her up. I jump on her bed right next to her, and she jumps up looking around.
"Sarah! Don't do that! I almost wet myself!" She yells
"Shhhh! Not so loud!" I say laughing.
"Ok, ok, gosh!" She laughs. "So how was it?"
"I'm never doing that again."
"Awe why? What happend?"
I start laughing again, and she slaps my arm. "It was amazing!"
"Details!"
I start from when we walked out the door, then end at the door step.
"So your going out again next weekend?" She asks.
"Yep!"
"Yay! Ummm..... Can I ask you some thing?"
"Sure."
"Well I don't really know how to ask it, but is there any way- well do you think- oh, never mind."
"No I want to know."
"Let me put it this way, I like Ammon."
"Oh, well I'll see what I can do." I laugh. "Tonight was amazing, though." I say floping down on my bed.
