Sarahs POV
I wake up in a whight room, laying in a bed. I look around, and see my parents, and Kylie. My mom is asleep on a chair, and my dad is trying to explain football to Kylie, but she is just not getting it. "Owch!" I whine as my head aches. Kylie runs to my side as my dad wakes my mom up. I notice my right arm is in a cast and I feel something wraped around my head.
"Sarah are you ok?" My mom asks.
"Where am I? What happend?" I ask.
"You're in the hospital." My dad answers. "A young man, who said his name was Cody, said that you tripped on a crack on the side walk, then hit your head on the grownd. Do you remember any of that?"
I think for a moment, then it all comes back to me. "Yeah that's what happend." I answer. "Where is Cody?"
"He went home." Kylie answers. "It was getting too late, but he left you something." She grabs something off the side of the couch. Its his BYU jacket!
"Wait what time is it now?" I ask.
"Amost 2." My mom says looking at her phone.
"When do I get to go home?" I ask.
"In just a few days. They want to keep you here just to make sure you're ok. You're arm is broken, but not badly." My dad answers. After a while I fall asleep again.
*Friday*
Kylies POV
Shara comes home tomorrow, and I really want to do something nice for her, but I can't think of any thing. I decide to send a text to Patch to see if he has any ideas. Pretty soon I get a text back.
From Patch:
Well when we go out tonight we can get some party stuff and maybe get her a bag of candy and give it to her tonight but throw a welcome home party for her and invite all the guys and her friends
To Patch:
YES!!!!! LETS DO IT!!!!! See u soon :)
*later that day*
I just finished getting ready when I hear the door bell ring.
"Kylie! Patch is here!" I hear my mom yell.
"I'm coming!" I yell down the hall. I run down the stares, then I see Patch standing by the door. I get the feeling again.
"Hey! You ready?" He asks.
"Yep!" I answer. "Bye mom!" I yell so she knows we're leaving. We walk out the door, and Patch helps me into his car. "Where's Zac?"
"We're gonna meet them at walmart." He says. We finally get to walmart, and Patch parks next to a car with some people in it. Then I see Zac get out and he helps a girl out of his car. Then Patch helps me out of his car.
"Hey Patch! Hey Kylie!" Zac says with a smile. "Kylie, this is Kadlynn." He says as he puts an arm around her.
"Hi!" She says with a sweet smile. "So are you Patches girlfriend?"
"Oh, uh no we're just friends." I answer. I can feel my face getting hot.
"Oh, Patch talks about you so much that I thought you guys were together." She says. I look at him, and I see him blush.
"Really?" I ask.
"Yeah he just won't shut up about you, and how amazing he felt when he serenaded you." Zac answers, and now Patch is beet red.
"Let's go inside." Patch says. Zac and Kadlynn walk ahead of Patch, and I, hand in hand.
Patches POV
I really want to hold Kylies hand, but I don't know if she will let me. Well there's only one way to find out. I slowly grab her hand. She looks at me and smiles, and squeezes my hand.
"Do you really talking talk about me?" She asks.
I'm gonna have to tell her some day. "Yeah sometimes."
"What did Zac meen when he said the way you felt when you serenaded me?"
