Patches POV
"I don't know. When I serenaded you, I guess I felt something difrent, but it felt amazing." I say as we walk through the front door of walmart.
"Ok so what are gonna get?" Zac asks.
"Let's go look at the candy. We should get snacks for this, right?" Kylie asks.
"Right." I answer her.
We run over to where the candy is, pushing a cart. We get two big bags of random candy, and a small bag of m&ms to give to her tonight, then we go to the chip aisle.
"Sarah loves funions!" Kylie says jumping, as she puts a bag in the cart. We grab a few bags of tortilla chip, and jars of chees dip. Then we get party supplies.
We check out, then head to the hospital. Zac, and Kadlynn riding with us, and they're sitting in the back seat.
"I'm sorry about your sister." Kadlynn says to Kylie.
"Its alright. She been doing alright, which is really good. It was scary at first, though." Kylie says.
"I bet. I'm glad she's ok." Kadlynn replys.
We finally get to the hospital, and walk to Sarahs room. Kylie's carrying the M&Ms, and a stuffed animal we bought for Sarah. "Do you want me to carry that for you?" I ask.
"No I've got it."
"Are you sure?"
"Yep."
After a bit of arguing, she finally let's me carry it. We get to Sarahs room, and Kylie knocks on the door.
"Come in!" I hear Sarah yell. We walk in, and Sarahs eyes get wide, then a smile growes on her face. Kylie gives her a hug, then I give her her gifts, and give her a hug. "Thank you so much!" Then she looks at Kylie. "But I like peanut M&Ms."
"Shut up. You hate peanuts!" Kylie says, then they start laughing. Zac gives her a hug then introduces Kadlynn. "Its nice to meet you!" Sarah says as Kadlynn gives her a hug.
"Would you like us to sing anything for you?" I ask.
"Ok. I don't really care what you sing." She answers.
Zac, and I sing a few songs, then hang out for a bit. After awhile we leave and head to the park. We get there, and Zac helps me unload the food.
Kylie and Kadlynn find a picnic table, and we sit down and start eating. Once we finish, Zac walks Kadlynn to a near by pond, then lays a blanket out, and they sit down on that. I look at Kylie, and she's looking at the swings. I grab her hand, and walk her to the swings. She sits down in one and I start swinging her. After a bit of swinging her I get into the one right next to her. She starts to slow down to a stop.
"Is every thing ok?" I ask worried.
"Look at it." She says looking up at the sky.
I look up, and I see the sky full of starts, and the moon is shining so bright. "Wow!" I say. Its just beautiful. I turn to look at her and she's looking at me. Her eyes are sparkling. I start to lean in for a kiss, and she does the same. Our lips are about to touch when she pulls away.
"No. I can't." I hear her say to her self. She looks up at me. "I'm sorry Patch I'm just not ready. I'm trying to save my first kiss for the person I'm gonna marry."
She looks down at her hands, and put my hand under her chin so she's looking at me. "Don't feel bad. If any one should feel bad it should be me. I almost made you brake your standards. I'm sorry." I give her a hug, and rub her back.
"Thank you for understanding." She says and pulls away. I see a tear run down her cheek, so I wipe it away, and she grabs my hand, and holds it against her cheek. I stand up, and pull her into another hug. We stay like that for a few minuts, then we go back to the table where we ate and cleaned up our mess, the we walk to the car. I help Kylie in, then I get into the drivers seat. "Are we forgeting something?" She asks. I thing for a second, but nothing comes to mind. "Zac and Kadlynn! There still at that pond!" She says, and bust out laughing.
"Hahaha I'll go get them." I say as I get out of the car.
