Kylies POV
*Friday*
I wake up to my phone buzzing. I have a text from TJ. I look at the time. 8:58 it reads. I unlock the screen, and read the text.
From TJ:
Hey! Do you, and Sarah want to hang out with Mal, the guys, and I at Temple Square?
I smile at the text, then get out of bed, and walk to Sarahs room. "Sarah, do you want to go to Temple Square with TJ, and Mal?"
"Yeah, ok. What time?" She asks.
"I don't know. I'll send a text to Teej. Oh, some of TJs friends are coming, too." I tell her as I text TJ. Then I go back to my room and get ready to go.
A few minutes later I get a text back.
From TJ:
30 minz?????
To TJ:
Ok kool!!!!! XD
I go find Sarah and let her know to be ready to go soon. Then I go back to my room and finish getting ready to go.
I put on some navy blue jeans. A dark pink shirt, that has a panda hiting another panda, and says "if you're happy and you know it slap your friend". A light blue hoodie, with a blue beanie.
I grab my shoes, and walk into the living room. "Good morning!" I say to my parents, who are watching something on youtube. "Sarah, and I are gonna go to Temple Square with TJ, and Mal. Is that alright? Oh, and a few of their friends are coming, too."
"Yeah, I guess so." My dad says. "But I want to meet their friends before you leave." Then he goes back to watching his video.
I pull out my phone to see what time it is. "Dang it Teej!" I think to myself. "You were suppost to be here 10 minutes ago!" I send him a text.
To TJ:
Hey r we stil goin?
Before I can set my phone down, I get a text back.
From TJ:
SORRY!!!!!! We're runing late. B there soon. Sorry!
To TJ:
Oh no its fine. Just wanted to make sure. Oh btw my dad wants to meet the guys b4 we make like a tree and leaves. C u soon.
As soon as I hit send, there's a knock at door. "Well, that was fast!" I think to myself.
I put my shoes on, and then walk to the door. As I open it I see Patch.
"Hey," he says smiling. "TJ asked me to come get you, and Sarah. Everyone else is in the van."
"Oh, well. Ummm...." I say. "My dad wants to meet you, and the guys before we leave."
"Oh, ok." He looks kind of nervous now. "I'll go get the guys." He runs off to the van. The next thing I know everone is walking inside.
I lead them to the living room. "Dad, they're here. This is Zac, Patch, Tanner, and Ammon."
"Its nice to meet you guys." He says shaking their hands. "Well I'll let you guys go. I just wanted to see who my girls were hanging out with. Y'all have fun, and be safe!"
"Alrigh. Bye mom! Bye dad!" I yell as we walk out the door. We get into the big van, and drive off.
Pretty soon we're parked, and walking around Temple Square. "What should we do first?" Ammon asks.
"Well," Sarah says. "Kylie, and I haven't eatin yet. So let's get something to eat."
We find a Dennys, and get seated at a table. This time I'm sitting between Tanner, and Patch.
"So do you have a boyfriend?" Zac asks teasingly.
"No." I answer. "I'm still waiting for someone to come along, and sweep me off my feet. I've never met a guy I've liked well enough to want to be his girlfriend."
"So you've never had a crush before?" Patch asks.
"Not really." I answer. "Like I've had 'C.O.W.'s before, but not like a real crush. When I was younger, a lot of guys were really mean to me. Now I'm scared of having a boyfriend 'cause of my past." I feel a tear roll down my cheek, then I feel four, srong arms rap around me, pulling me into a hug.
"Wow." Patch says. "That sucks. That really sucks." They hug me for a few seconds longer, then they let go.
"Hi, I'm Cody, and I'll be your waiter this morning." A tall, buff, dark saggy haired, 17 or 18 year old boy says. "Can I get you something to drink?"
I look over at Sarah. She looks at him, then wispers something in Mallorys ear. I roll my eyes, and order orange juice.
"Ok, I'll be right back with your drinks." He says with a smile, and winks at Sarah, then walks off.
"Holy crap!" Sarah wispers loudly. "He's so freaking cute!"
"Sarah, your not 16 yet." I remind her.
"I will be in two weeks!" She says. "And one can still dream."
"You're weird." I say jokingly. I see a little black dot on her cheek, so I decide to play a prank on her. "Hey you've got a little something there." I hand her my little mirror, then wait about two seconds. "Oh my gosh! He's coming! Get it off!" I yell. She stars freaking out, and I start laughing.
"Hey!" She yells at me. At this pont we're not paying any attention to what's going on around us.
"Here are your drinks." Cody says putting a tray down on the table.
"AHHHHH!!!!" Sarah, and I scream. Cody jumps back, and its a good thing he set the tray down, or the drinks would be all over him.
Sarah face turns red, and I'm just sitting there laughing like an idiot.
"Is everything alright?" Cody asks with a concerned look, witch only makes me laugh harder.
"Yeah," Mallory answers. "Sarah, here was going on, and on about how cute you are. So Kylie decided to play a prank on her, by telling her that she had something on her face. Witch she did. Then Kylie said you were coming, but then you did come, but they didn't hear, or see you walk up, so you scared them."
Sarahs face is like 15× more red than it was before. I feel bad for her, but then I notice that Codys blushing.
"Well I think you're very cute, too!" He says with a sweet smile. "Maybe we'll see eachother again." He winks, then takes our order.
We spend the rest of the day walking around Temple Square, and just having fun, But every now, and then I find myself staring at Tanner.
