Kylie's POV
I can't believe I'm doing this. I'm walking back and forth in circles in my living room trying to calm down. I told patch that I would go with him to the Hunter Hayes concert and now I'm a nervous wreck!
"Kylie, he's here. I just saw him drive up." Sarah says walking into the kitchen.
"Thanks Sarah. Will you answer the door?" It's been months since I've been on a date! I really don't want to do this but I don't have a choice! I hear the front door open and some talking so I guess he's inside. I walk into the living room and I see Patch. I fake a smile as he's talking. Its taking every bit of will power to keep from rolling my eyes at him.
"You ready?" He asks. I nod my head and walk out the door. I try to make it to the car befor he does so he doesn't open the door for me, but needless to say I failed. "You want to grab something to eat before the concert?"
"If you want to, I'm not really that hungry" who am I kidding I'm starving but I don't want to do anything that where I have to talk to him very much.
"Are you sure?" I'm about to nod my head when my gut starts crying for help. "Food it is." Great!
We pull into a Chick-fil-A and go strait to the drive through. I tell him what I want and the he starts ordering everything in a Dobby voice! I'm trying hard to not laught but I can't keep it in. After he rolls up his window I burst out in laughter. "Why are you laughing, I thought you were mad at me?" He says jokingly. I roll my eyes and smile to my self. Maybe tonight won't be so bad.
When we get to the concert I find out that we have floor seats! So were going to be really close to the stage. We get there about 30 minuts early so we wouldn't be late. "Kylie?" I hear Patch say.
"Yeah?" I say turning to him.
"Look I'm really really sorry that I messed things up between you and Josh." I start feeling bad again and look down at my hands. "I didn't mean to hurt you like that! I should have left things the way they were but thinking of a life without you was so hard and I hated the idea of you being with another guy. I really hope you will forgive me!" I look up into his eyes to see if he really meant it. I'm not sure what to say. "Will you think about it during the concert?" I nod my head and then Hunter Hayes comes out and starts singing.
I'm having such a fun time but I realize the Patch has been staring at me during the whole song of Everybodys Got Somebody But Me and I start to feel bad. Maybe I am being unfair. What should I do? He really doesn't deserve this from me. The next song that comes on is Wanted. "Patch?" I can't belive I'm doing this! "Do you want to dance?" His face lights up and in no time at all were dancing with him singing in my ear.
I start to think about when Josh and I were dancing and the David Archuleta concert. I start to feel like I'm about to cry so I try to push the thought away. When the chorus to wanted came on Patch pulls me in closer and sings "Oh, I just wanna to wrap you up, wanna kiss your lips, I wanna make you feel wanted!" He pulls away and looks at my lips. He starts moving in to kiss me but I turn my head so he can't. I hope he got the message.
*after the concert*
"So did you have fun?" Patch says to break the awkward silence.
"Yeah I did. Thanks for taking me." I don't know what to say and I don't want to be mean by not thanking him. Like he paid for everything and he's been super nice about everything he's had to put up with.
"No problem!" He says and after that we don't talk for the rest of the way home. We get to my house and I thank him again and try to get inside as soon as I can. "Kylie, wait!" I stop in my traks. "Listen the band is having a concert and I was wondering if you would come and watch us? It would mean a lot to me if you came and I will probably preform better knowing that you're there. Will you go?"
I think about it for a second. "Ok I'll go, but to suport the whole band, not just you."
"Really?! Thank you so much!" He says and runs back to his car and leaves without even saying good night. I walk inside to find Sarah and TJ sitting on the couch as if they have been waiting for me.
"What?" I ask.
"So how did it go?" Sarah asks anxiously.
"It was fine. Oh, TJ I'm going to the concert tomorrow night."
"Awesome! Do you have tickets or do you need me to get you some?"
"No I don't have one. Well I'm going to bed goodnight."
*at the concert*
"Hey aren't you Kylie?" A girl next to me asks. "Patch's ex?"
"Yeah, I am." I answer.
"If you don't mind me asking, why did you and Patch break up?" She asks.
"I met another guy while he was on his mission." I answer looking down at my feet.
"Is he here?"
"No, we broke up."
"So are you and Patch going to get back together?"
"No, no we're not."
"Awe, that's too bad. I shipped you guys so much when you were dating. You guys were goals!" She says then turns her attention to the boys. During the whole concert I find Patch stareing at me then Serenade comes on and he walks right to me. He grabs my hand and pulls me on stage.
"I know you haven't forgiven me yet but I'm not going to stop doing everything I can to try to win you back! I love 10× more than I did the day I met you" My jaw drops! I can't believe he said that! I feel so bad but I don't what to do! I decide to just enjoy the moment. He gives me a hug then takes my hand and walks me to a chair. He holds my hand softly and stares into my eyes and never looks away. I don't want this to end!
*concert ends*
I go backstage so I can find Sarah and TJ so I can go home and think. "Kylie!" Ammon yells as he runs to me. "TJ asked me to tell you that him and Sarah left to get some dinner."
"What?! But they're my ride!" I say just a little too loudly.
"I know. I think after they saw Patch serenade you and how much you enjoied it that they want to you get a ride home with him."
"Does Patch know?"
"No. They want you to ask him."
"Can't you, Zac, or Tanner give me a ride home?" I want to think about how I really feel before I spend anymore time with Patch.
"No! You need to take care of all this. Now you better ask him soon or you'll be spending the night here."
"Fine." I walk to Patch's dressing room and knock on the door. I'm so nervous. He opens the door and looks shocked to see me. "Hey Patch, umm... Sarah and TJ forgot me here so I was wondering if I could get a ride home.
"Yeah totally! Just give me 5 minutes." He goes back into his dressing room and comes back out a few minutes later with a diferent outfit on. "You read?"
"Yep." I smile. I'm shaking so badly I just hope he doesnt notice.
After some conversation and catching up, we arive at my house. He gets out to open my door and walks me to the front door. "Thanks for coming tonight and letting me serenading you!"
"You're welcome. I had fun and thanks for the ride home."
"Anytime! Well goodnight." He starts to walk to his car and I know what I need to do! I have to do it now or I might loose my chance!
"Patch! Wait!" I yell and run after him.

IM BACK!!!! Dang! A year ago tomorrow will be a year since I updated this story last! I feel bad! Hopefully I'll get some reads in this chapter! I'll try to update soon!!!
