Sarahs POV
Sunday school ends and I walk to the Young Women room. I see my best friend Dani talking to Megan. I go over and sit by her but she doesn't hear me so I poke her sids.
"Ahhhh! What the heck!" She yells as she turns around. "Sarah! You're back!"
"Yep." I say laughing. "How are you? Do you have a boyfriend yet?" Most of the time when Dani and I talk, its about boys. So this question comes up a lot. Dani's a year older than me, so she goes out every now and then. But I'm turning 16 in a few weeks so I'll get to go out, too!
"No but there is this one guy that I'll tell you about later." She says as class starts.
*an hour later*
Dani and I walk out of the room. "You're staying all summer again, right?"
"Yep." I answer. "So who was it you were wanting to tell me about?"
"Oh, yeah! So this guy moved here about a month ago, and he is so cute!" She answers. "I kind of like him, and I think he likes me, too. Oh, shut up he's right behind you!"
I turn around, and I see Cody! "Wait. She likes Cody?" I think to my self. This is the first time that we've liked the same guy. Should I tell her?
"Hey guys!" Cody says.
"Hey Cody." Dani says shyly. "Uh this my friend Sarah."
She doesn't look at me so I give him a "act like you don't know me" look. He sees it, and plays along. Thank goodness.
"Hi its nice to meet you." He says with a wink, which makes my heart melt. "Well I'll see you lovely ladies later. Bye." He walks off, and as Dani turns to look at me, I see him turn around and wink again.
"What?" Dani asks. I guess I was smiling cause now she's got this confused look on her face.
"Oh, nothing. I just thought of some thing but I forgot." I lie.
"Oh ok. So what do you think of Cody?"
"I think he's cute."
"Do you think he likes me?"
"I don't know. You know I'm not very good when it comes to stuff like that."
"Yeah, I know. I just wanted to see."
"Hey Sarah," Kylie says walking up to me. "We need to go. The Ryans are coming over for dinner."
"Ok. Bye Dani." I say and give her a hug, then walk to the car with Kylie.
"So who was that guy you were talking to before Sunday school?" Kylie asks
"That was Cody." I answer.
"Wait the waiter? I knew I've seen him before!"
"Yeah that's him. But there's one problem. Dani likes him."
"Wait you like him? Like, like him like him?"
"Yeah."
"Does he like her?"
"I don't know I can't tell."
"Does Dani know you like him?"
"No. Right before you came and got me, he came up to us, so she introduced me to him, but I gave him a look telling him not to say anything about us knowing each other. So he played along, but he winked at me. Twice."
"Well I'd say he likes you."
"Really?"
"Yep."
