Sarahs POV
We're in the middle of kick ball, and now its my turn. Parker rolls the ball, I kick it to the other side of the room. I start running and right before I make it to 2nd base, which is where Cody is, I trip.
"Wow Sarah are you ok?" Cody says sitting right next.
"I'm fine. It takes a lot more than that to get me to quit." I say laughing. I get up and keep playing.
*after the activity*
I'm sitting by the front door, waiting for Dani, and Cody. Pretty soon I see Cody and he comes and sits by me. "Dani went to the bathroom. She'll be out in a minute. Why does she keep following me around?"
"Its cause she likes you. When she likes someone she won't leave them alone, and she also starts being mean to other girls that like the same guy."
"Is that why she was rude to you on the way here?"
"Wait, you didn't tell her about walking me home, right?" I say avoiding the question.
"No."
"Ok good. When you drop her off, I'm gonna walk ahead then find some place to wait for you where she can't see me."
"Ok. Here let me give you my number so if you need to reach me you can."
I hand him my phone, and he puts in his number. As soon as I get my phone back in my pocket, Dani walks out. "Ok let's go!" She says walking ahead of me. Cody holds the door open for us, and winks at me. "I'm cold."
Cody takes off his BYU jacket, and I think I saw him roll his eye, which makes me snort a little. Dani glares at me for a second then turns around, locking her arms with Cody, and keeps walking ahead of me. "Where did my best friend go?" I think to my self.
We get to her house, finally. "I'll see you guys later!" I say walking ahead of them, like planed. Cody walks her to the door step and hugs her good night, then I see him ask her something. "He better not be asking her out." I think to my self, then I see her hand him his jacket. It is taking every bit of me to keep from laughing. He puts the jacket back on and starts walking to where I am.
"Did you ask for your jacket back?" I ask him.
"Yeah, I spent a lot of money on this thing, so there is no way I'm giving it to her." He answers, and I snort again. Then I feel myself shiver. "Do you want to borrow it?"
"Is that ok with you?" I ask.
"Yes, you're not trying to act all flirty and stuff, and I can tell you really need it." He says puting it around me.
"Thanks." I blush. He puts his arm around me, and we walk in silence.
Right before we get to my door I trip again. I put my arms out in front of me to brake the fall. "AHHHH!!!!" I screem. I think I broke my arm, then I hit my head on something and evry thing goes black.
