Kylie's POV
*Friday*
*door bell rings*
"I'll get it!" Yell. I run over to the door and open it, and there stands Patch. "Oh, hi Patch." I say in a not so friendly way.
"Hey Kylie, is Syd here?" He asks smiling.
"Syd, Patch is here!" I yell down the hall, then go to my room with out saying a word to Patch. I pull out my phone thinking about talking to Josh. I don't want to ruin my engagement because of Patch. I keep thinking about what I should do to try to keep it together. I clasp on my bed, and right then my phone rings. "Ugh!" I yell. "I just want to be left alone!" I sit up, take a deep breath, then answer the phone. "Hello?"
"Hey sweetie, do you wanna go out to eat?" Josh asks.
"You know what, sure. I really need to get out of the house. What time?"
"I know this is really soon, but I was thinking in 30 minutes?"
"Alright, I'll be ready. see you soon." I end the call and get ready to go. I don't even try to look pretty, I just need to relax. I put my hair in a messy bun, and through on a t shirt and jeans. Pretty soon I hear a knock on the door. "Coming!" I yell. I grab my tennis shoes and run to the door. "Hey Josh." I say as I open the door.
"Hey Kylie." He says then kisses my cheek. "You ready to go?"
"Yeah, just let me grab my phone." I run to my room and grab my phone. I put it in my pocket then run to Josh's car. I get inside and he's playing some of my favorite music. "Where are we going?"
"I was thinking just something simple, like Wendy's."
"Sounds good." I know it's only a 15 minute drive but I fell asleep after like 2.
"Kylie, Kylie, wake up." I feel someone softly rubbing my arm. "Kylie, were here." I nod my head then get out of the car. We walk inside and order our food. I go to sit down at a table while Josh waits for our food. I stare at a wall and zone out while I'm waiting. A few minutes later he comes back with our food. "You know what's kinda funny?" He asks me.
"What?" I ask.
"This is where we had our first date at."
"Huh, cool." This isn't a very romantic place. I don't even care that much. I'm like rolling my eyes in my head. I look down at my food and sigh.
"Hey, are you ok?"
"Yeah, I'm just tired." I say and look up at him, then I see a familiar face behind Josh. It's Sydney! Oh crap! Then I see Patch sitting in front of her. I look down as fast as I can hoping that Josh didn't notice. How did I not notice them before? Oh well who cares, I just hope they don't see us.
"Do you want to make any wedding plans right now?"
"Umm... sure."
"Ok so which temple?"
"Salt Lake, or Provo I guess."
"Ok, those are really hard to get into unless we wait for awhile."
"Alright."
"Like close to 6 months to a year."
"I know."
"And your okay with waiting that long?"
"I don't know, I'm really tired and just out of it."
"Should we do this another time?"
"Yeah, that would probably be a good idea." I nod my head. I decided to look at Syd and Patch for a sec. I can't believe what I'm seeing! Their kissing! Like totally making out!
"Kylie!" I hear Josh yell! I didn't even realize that my mouth was hanging open. "Kylie I warned you, we're over!"
"What?! No!" I say even more shocked.
"Look, I can tell you still love Patch! I don't want to spend the rest of my life with someone who loves someone else."
"But I do love you!"
"Then why are you getting jealous that they're kissing?" I don't answer. I don't know what to say. "That's what I thought." He says and starts walking out the door.
"Wait! Can't you at least take me home?"
"You know what, no. You can have your crush take you home!" He says then leaves. I'm just sitting there shocked! I lean over and start crying into my hands.
"Kylie?" I hear somebody say. I look up just to see Syd and Patch.
"What do you want?" I say turning away.
"Can we sit down?" Syd asks.
"Fine." I say rolling my eyes.
"We need to tell you something." Patch says. "For starters, we weren't really kissing. All this stuff we've been doing was to make you jealous. I'm really sorry and I didn't realize it was going to hurt you like this."
"Why would you do that? You know I love Josh and now you're keeping him from me!" I say raising my voice.
"If you really love him then why were you getting jealous over us?" Syd asks.
"Take me home!" I say avoiding the question. How am I supposed to answer that? I just want to go home and think it over.

I'm so sorry it has taken so long! I tried updating about 2 weeks ago but then it deleted about half of the chapter so I had to rewrite it! Also sorry it's short!!!!
