Patches POV

"You'll be the best missionary New York will ever have!" I say giving her a meaningful smile. I look into her eyes, and just think about how beautiful she is, then I look at her lips. I want to kiss her, but there is no way she would let me do that, also I promised her I wouldn't. I turn my head, to look back at the water. I feel her hand on my cheek, so I turn my head, that I'm looking at her. I see her stand on her toes, and then she kisses me! She pulls away, and no words can explain how happy I am. She smiles at me, and blushes a little. A  huge smile grows on my face, then I lean in and kiss her back. The feeling I'm having, I don't want it to end. Wait. Does that mean I'm her special someone? Soon I pull away, then hug her.

"I love you!" I hear her say. I pull away and look into her eyes, and start to cry.

"I love you, too!" I say, then kiss her again. "I'm gonna miss you so much!"

"I already miss you!" She says, starting to cry.

"Promise you'll wait for me?"

"I promise. There's no one else I'd rather be with than you."

"I love you!" I say again. That's all I can think. I love her. I just hug her, I don't ever want to let go.

"Love you, too." She says, then starts to sob.

"Shhhhh...." I say rubing her back. "This is not the last time we'll see each other." I let go and grab her hand, then walk her to a bench. We sit down, and she crys into my chest, and I cry into her hair. After we calm down, she sits up and looks into my eyes.

"Where do you see us when you get home from your mission?" She asks. I can tell that she needs an answer. She needs to be comforted, so I guess there's not a better time to do this. A smile slowly grows on my face, and I put my arms around her. She lays her head back down on my chest, and I start playing with some of her hair, with my fingers.

"I see me walking through the airport, seeing my family, friends, the guys, your family, then you. The best for last. I see us running into each others arms, still as madly in love with each other, as we are now. Then later on I see us walking out of the temple, hand in hand. You're in the most beautiful, wight dress I've ever seen. I see us together for time and all eternity." She sits up again with tears running down her cheeks.

"You really feel that way?" She smiles in unbelief.

"Yes. You're the most amazing person I have ever met. Yes we've had ups, and downs, but I love you to much to ever let any of that get in the way! I'll be thinking about you the whole time I'm gone."

"No, only think about me when you write me."

"Ok I'll think about you every Monday!" I say then kiss her cheek. "Can I ask you something?" She nods her head, then rests on my sholder. "Why did you kiss me? You said that you were saving your first kiss for the person you're gonna marry. Am I that person?"

"I kissed you 'cause I felt ready. I felt like it was time. I know now that I truely love you, and that I want to be with you forever! So yes, I think you are the one." After she says that, we go back to crying. After a few minutes I stand up, and grab her hand, remembering something I wanted to do.

"Come on, there's something I want to show you." We pick up our food, and stuff then go to my car. I help her inside, then I get in the driver side. We drive to my house, and get out.

"What are we doing here?" She asks.

"Just wait." I smile. I go around to the back of the car, and grab the blanket. I take Kylies hand, and we walk to the back of my house. There's a wooded area at the bottom of a hill with a path I made a few years ago. After a bit of walking, we finally get there.
