Kylie's POV
Syd flew home about five months ago and since then I've been avoiding Patch at all cost! But tonight I'm feeding all of Beyond 5 that's home from their missions as an welcome for Zac! I've got TJ, Sarah, Tanner and his girlfriend Julia, Patch, Zac and his girlfriend Kadlynn. Zac's family is throwing a welcome home party for Zac tomorrow but this is like a B5 family reunion... Sort of. Besides Ammon (he's still on his mission).
Josh just started dating this other girl he just met at BYU and it looks like things are getting pretty serious between them.
So my parents just moved to back to Idaho about a month ago but now their in Boise. Before they were just living in a small apartment right by temple square. Sarah, TJ, and I ant living together here in the house where we grew up in.
Every body has been trying to get me to start dating patch again but after what he did it's been hard to want to do that.
"Kyle! We're home!" Sarah yells as she walks into the front door. "So what are we having for dinner tonight?"
"I was thinking we could just get pizza and ice cream and stuff like that and have a big party!! What do you think?"
"Should we get a movie?" TJ asks.
"No because he's not going to feel comfortable doing that yet. That's going to take a bit of time to get used to again." Sarah answers then looks at me. "it sounds good, but I do think that we need some kind of activity."
"Well we'll probably be spending most of our time just catching up on stuff, but we'll see." I say. "Hey TJ, will you help me with this banner?" I ask rolling one side to him and tossing a bag of markers.
*ding-dong*
I jump up to answer the door and see Kadlynn standing outside. "Hey girly!" I say giving her a hug.
"Hey Kyle!" She says and let's go. "Sorry I'm early, I just want to help set things up and make sure that I'm here before Zac."
"You're totally fine, Kadie! I know how you feel!" We walk inside and finish everything up. The time flies by fast and before I know everyone starts showing up. Everyone except Zac. I hear a car door shut so I look outside just to see Zac. "HE'S HERE!!!!" I yell. The door bell rings and I go to answer it. I signal to Kadlynn to stand behind the door. "Zac!" I say giving him a hug. "I've got a surprise for you. Close your eyes.... And no peeking!" He does as I say and I close the door. I move Kadlynn to where she's standing in front of him. This is the first time they've seen each other since Zac left for his mission, so it's been awhile for them! "Ok, now open." He opens his eyes and his jaw drops. He raps his arms around Kadlynns waist and picks her up and spins her. As soon as he sets her down he kisses her. Pretty soon they remember that there are other people around and go and sit down on the couch.
Time passes by before we know it and pretty soon everyone leaves. I was so much fun to see Zac again but I felt a bit awkward around Patch. "Okay guys I'm really tired so I'm going to bed. I'll see you both tomorrow." I say to Sarah and TJ.
"Ok. Good night." They say in unison. I walk to my room and turn on the lights, then I see it. Paper hearts are hanging from the ceiling. Rose pedals on my bed with a box of chocolates in the middle. More hearts on my floor and they all have like cute little sayings on them. Then sitting next to my bed is this huge teddy bear and it's holding a bunch of flowers and a card. I take the flowers and the card. I open it up and read it. It says:
Dear Kylie,
I know you're probably still mad at me for what happened between you and Josh. And I'm very sorry for that! I hope I can make it up to you so I was wondering if you would like to go with me to a Hunter Hayes concert? Please let me know.

I look in the envelope and find two tickets to a Hunter Hayes concert for next weekend. Patch has been trying to get me to go out with him for a while but I keep turning him down, but now I don't think I can. He already bought the tickets and he really went all out on asking me this time. I look at my phone to check the time. 11:44. It's too late to text him now. I'll sleep on it and make the decision tomorrow and then let him know. I feel like if I decide on anything now I'll regret my decision. I pick up the rose petals up off of my bed and move the chocolates to my desk then climb into bed.
*the next morning*
I wake up from hearing the door bell ring. Ugh! It's 8 o'clock on a Saturday! Why would somebody be here this early in the morning? "I'll get it!" I hear Sarah yell. Good! Now I can go back to sleep. I toss and turn for about 30 minutes but can't fall back asleep. I hear my stomach growl so I decide to get some food. I walk into the kitchen and open the fridge. I find a bag with my name on it. I pull it out not knowing what it is just to find a chocolate covered donut and donut holes. So that's why somebody came. Was to bring me my favorite breakfast. I go to the table and eat it quickly, then I go to the living room where TJ and Sarah are.
"Who brought me donuts?" I ask looking at Sarah.
"Patch." She answers.
"Patch? Why?"
"Why do you think?" I nod my head knowing the answer and just go back to my room.
I don't know whether or not I should go to the concert. I send a text to Kadlynn asking her what I should do, and pretty soon I get a reply.
From Kadlynn:
I think you should go. He already bought the tickets and he went through all that work just to put up all those declarations for YOU! Besides, has he ever treated you badly? No! I mean yeah he tried to make you jealous by acting like he was dating your best friend but it was kind of your fault that Josh broke up with you. You need to forgive and forget. And yeah I really encourage you to go!!!!
I think about it for a minute. What she said is true. He's has treated me better than any other guy, But he was trying to get me to break up with Josh! And it worked! Why shouldn't I be mad at him? I guess I'll go because it's Hunter Hayes, but he better not get his hopes up because this is the only time I'm letting him take me out!

Sorry I haven't updated in a while! I've been really busy with school and a bunch of other stuff. I just haven't had the time to update but I'm trying my best!!
